How many musical instrument players on here?

September 30 2017

Hi all. How many of you play an instrument? Anyone play something a bit left field or obscure eg. A sitar or oboe or something even less common? I joke about playing an instrument increases my chances of female attention (debatable at best) but is there anyone on here that has gotten more attention just for playing an instrument? Has someone become more attractive to you after seeing them play? P.s. your "flesh organ" or "flesh flute" doesn't count (thought I'd get in first because someone is likely to say it haha) - Posted from rhpmobile

I spent years playing trombone in a variety of bands and orchestras - swing bands, jazz bands, marching bands (both parade marching and field marching for competitions), youth symphonies...I also picked up tenor saxophone for a year and baritone saxophone for a year. Bari sax was a LOT of fun to play. Trombone (though it may be denied by fans of Star Trek: TNG's William Riker) is NOT a sexy instrument, however. Playing trombone will NOT get you laid. It is only with a GREAT degree of difficulty that you can serenade someone with a trombone... I also spent five years playing taiko (Japanese drumming) semi-professionally. Also not a way to serenade someone. Most of the women in the group were lesbians, so if that was your inclination it was a decent way to meet someone - as a straight guy, not so much.

My instrument of choice is, wait what were we talking about? I did play an instrument, originally purchased back in the 70's, has now been passed down and sounds a whole lot better than it did when I was playing it 😉 sorry can't say anymore

God I hated that thing. I like percussion instruments. I have tried guitar, piano plus accordian, violin, base, drums and even harp and even flute I just can't get the coordination right. Percussion I can still be involved. - Posted from rhpmobile

Whilst I do write songs, I cannot play anything. But does the triangle count?

Hi , From Guys I have talked with from the States I have a pretty good standing with them, and being able to be a member of our Orchestra and Brass bands in uniform does give us a good standing in our communitys in what we play, music wise. I was trained for our NZ Navy in our Drum Core. played the Bugle, Melodica, learning the Altonium and play Percussion, and that covers timpani.s as well, Button accordian and sing if that's included, in Italian German and French , ...noeleena...

Now I dont have any actual experience with this instrument. But I have developed a delicate tough from playing 'tap the wasps nest' with my friends. Totally transferable skill. And Im wiling to learn if soemone is willing to teach. I can pay in massages ;) - Posted from rhpmobile
