How to fix persistent new mail icon?

  We have a doorbell that rings at random, day and night - we joke that it is a phantom ''client'' that has unfinished business. Perhaps you are being winked at from beyond?

  As far as I know, when you go to the flirts page, it automatically shows each flirt as read. The only thing I can imagine is it might be on a different page. But I suspect we are talking messages here because that is what the icon is for. Try looking at non matching messages on your messages page.

  I can only fix it by checking messages and flirts in the actual mail/flirt boxes AND on the mailbox up the top of the page next to your name. Doubling up it seems.

  No solution has worked. Btw new flirt or message they both have common new icon and it is mail icon. I'm pretty sure how it happened. Any volunteer here? and I think I can create same problem to you 😁

  The flirts are in the box under the notifications. The messages have an envelope. Good luck working it out.
