I sometimes come across written Gaelic names that I've not seen or heard before and usually find a baby name site with audio, so I can hear how it's pronounced.

I always phrased it as 'buck-cake' as in caking in buck juice, but that was more to entertain myself then being grammatically or phonetically correct or incorrect as it seems - Posted from rhpmobile

On the radio the other day, there was a story about a drug cartel. The newsreader had obviously never heard the word before, as he kept pronouncing it as "cartle".
