  my first long term boyfriend used to go away, I'd get him to sleep in a shirt for a few nights and then give it to me when he left. I'd then wear it to bed. Loved the smell of him on it. Some people have a great natural smell. There's lots of smells I like on people though....fresh from a shower, a nice perfume or cologne (as long as it suits the person and the occasion), and yes that sweaty smell can be really sexy too...particularly during and after a hot session of sex when it mixes with all those other bodily fluid smells. It's so primal and raw

  It's all about the pheromones :) Or is it phero-moans? :) Fortunately or unfortunately, the attraction to another's natural smell by way of pheromones is the body's way of telling you that the other person has the best complimentary immune system to you, for the purposes of having the best offspring. So a person's natural smell will attract some to different degrees, and also repel some people. The people it repels, probably think they haven't showered (they may or may not have in reality), but while at the same time someone else will think they smell really nice. Smell is as subjective as taste. Science shows have done such experiments with groups of people, matching people's attraction based on smells from worn clothing for example, and/or checking to see if couples can correctly identify their lover by smell alone, and/or "rate" their smells without them knowing whos clothing matches with who. Ironically, our systems are pairing us up for children regardless of whether that is our intention or not. But the chances are, if you don't like someone's natural smell, you probably won't be hanging out in close quarters for too long, unless always reliant on artificial smells.

  during sex, the sweat is profuse and doesn't get time to smell funky but its like being oiled up so its fun to slip and grind.Otherwise not, I'm not into fruity flavours and prefer a freshly washed partner.I like a shower before and after sex, then have more sex, rinse and repeat.

  I agree though I am drawing on old memories here - my ex partner had an amazing spicy body odour especially after exercise - at night regardless of if we had sex or not I always snuggled into his chest and armpit just to soak his body odour in so beautiful darn it even though he ended up being an arsehole I can still fondly remember great moments and smile - Posted from rhpmobile

  a good aftershave/ cologne/perfume .. not keen on a sweaty smell unless its during sex because its for a good reason then

  But until things get hot and wet, perfume is the go. Love the smell of her perfume on my linen for days after she left. Clean sheets.....then my perfume will suffice until her next visit. Covers the smell of my farts......

That wasn't quite as "love match catchy" though... nor was them saying they weren't really claiming causation, just some curious correlations.
