Such a loaded question .... It depends......if I opted for beauty would I realise I'm stupid? On the other hand if I had intelligence I'd almost certainly realise I wasn't beautiful. Are dumb people therefore happier??? I'd always choose brains because beauty can be fleeting and I love mental stimulation, I can't imagine living without that. Lose my beauty and keep my brains. My beauty had a good run, and though I'm quite attached to my looks, they don't define who I am. Glad you didn't ask the "Would you rather be really beautiful are have a very high IQ" question. My answer to that would have been completely different.

Tough one If I was beautiful I could use my charms to seduce brainy women and have them look after me and hence be a "kept man". If was brainy I could baffle beautiful women with bullshit and start a harem. Win, Win :)B

Look beautiful but act dumb you get what you want with your looks, no matter how dumb you are natural selection there are very smart women that cant find a man. There are very smart men that can find a woman as they make loads of money. how may men want to be kept by a rich ugly woman? and stay faithful to that woman( do I hear crickets?) I was about to say, i am a fucking idiot and Tara has the brains, then it all turned to shit because she's not a bad sort and now i don't have a clue for where i fit into the equation. I'm above average smarts and barely average beauty. I spend a lot of time with super dooper smart people and they have me in a constant state of awe. I have a fascination for watching beautiful people and yes, just a tiny bit of jealousy. But over beauty and brains, I would choose spirit every time. Humility, tolerance, generosity, love, strength, benevolence. The more I cultivate these things, the more I love myself and others, just as we are.

Problem with the question is that to be able to answer you would need both beauty and brains. No matter how smart you are, it is very difficult to theorise being beautiful (jesus don't I know); no matter how beautiful, unless you have brains you could not really know what their problems/advantages are. Having neither, I would prefer a Tanqueray and tonic, lemon, lots of ice.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and is only skin deep. Ugliness goes to the bone, that can be said whether you're intelligent or dumb. One persons articulate, smart sassy Adonis/Venus is another persons Gumby the Clown. Meh just sayin'. I've never thought of myself as a pretty or beautiful woman, at times not even a smart one. But I think being handsome, expressive and able to converse on a variety of topics isn't so bad. Indy

I have always thought that great beauty may also be a great burden,I have a male friend who is one of the most physically stunning men I have ever met....and although he is also highly intelligent many people only see how good looking he is and look no further.....until recently for a woman to show her smarts was considered to be a no ,no, particularly if she was in search of a husband.....I am fortunate in that I have never had to choose,nature has done that for me.
