My kids because of the love they show to me, their concern that I'm okay and their never ending ways they make me laugh. Feel super happy right now. Grateful for the sunshine and warm weather it's pulling me up out of a slump, the long weekend here, a week off, a music festival I'm going to, an interesting inbox , coffee, music, friends, time, feeling grounded and finally having my spark back. ... right where I am atm. After so many tumultuous decades, things are finally settling down and I truly feel blessed. 😄 I think appreciating Wabi Sabi, the Japanese philosophy of embracing and appreciating imperfections, has helped tremendously. 😉 So has incorporating little bits and pieces of Mindfulness, Meditation, Law of Attraction, Prayers, etc etc helped me in my journey. I'm a visual creature and I love pretty things - collecting prints, daycatchers, crystals, building terrariums, whimsical artwork, etc and embarking on a long-term project to refurbish my little abode so it feels like a mini hotel retreat... that has brought me tremendous joy and sheer bliss! 😄 And because I love myself even more now, I've come to the happy realisation that I've been "different" all my life, not because it's a bad thing, but because it's actually good. And once I love myself, I naturally wanted to take good care of my body, eat well, keep healthy, be well-groomed, etc. Excess weight has dropped off (no gruelling exercise involved! 😄), and I've finally bought new clothes after maintaining the weight loss for almost 3 years. I got sick of safety-pinning my clothes and looking frumpy in oversized clothes. LOL! I won't lie - there are still things and situations in my life that are far from ideal. A dark cloud can be spotted looming in the horizon. But the umbrellas can come out when it actually pours - right now, it's great to live in the here and now, and celebrate life itself. 😉😊 It's so much easier to not sweat the small stuff if we are truly grateful, appreciative and happy on the inside. 😊 FlyGirlC, wish we were living closer to each other! I'd invite you over for one of my specially concocted cocktails with my very exotic collection of liquour... once my little refurbishment project is complete in, er... Dec 2018?! Harharhar! 😃

If I manage to haul my ass off the couch after that, I'll head out for a nice walk and hope I don't look like a Walking Dead! Lol! 🤣

I'm smiling from ear to ear at each response! Little wins and big wins need to be celebrated! 🌈💖 This time last year, I joined RHP too and although it's a massive rollercoaster ride of fun, love, fear and sadness - it has been more fond memories and I feel wonderful just reminiscing 😊 Thank you so much, keep up that spirit! Even if you think that one little positive thing is too small... make it grow! Negativity too easily lurks around the corner so we must keep it at bay! Happy weekend everyone! Fantastic to hear! We've been estranged from His family for many years and recently remade contact after the last parent passed which leaves us as the eldest generation now. It was a now or never again moment and we've been having great times reconnecting with people who actually like us and how we live. I feel great. I've struggled so with with a negative self view over the years... and it has been encouraging to be around people I like and feel comfortable with. I have a reason to smile again after all our struggles. We've been encouraged to get on with making our life more comfortable and getting more active. Enjoy your life, PeachyPearL

I'm really amazed at everyone's positivity on here 😄 Having wins in some parts of their life and some seeing how far they've come when one day way back when it seemed like an unconquerable mountain.... you never really know when you've "made it" until you look back and appreciate how far you've come 💖 Sorry PurePeony for my terrible typos erkh 😥

Congratulations to you Flygirl, I hope it stays good and you stay happy. I would love to make up with my ex as I love and miss her still, we were never meant to be though. Over three years now, I am still wanting to go back but know that it would be forestalling the inevitable.
