Cant help you there... to me intimidation is related to fear and unless she is the Evil Glamazon (complete with loincloth and spear) there is nothing to fear from a fit woman.

Perhaps its not intimidation as such. Your fit body points out to them, there own non-fit body. They may feel self- conscious. Maybe your fitness leads them to believe you will have more energy than them & they may not wish there ego to find out. The question I ask you, does this apply to fit as well as unfit people you meet?

Simply cos my body is all soft n squishy...lol. Next to your firmness Mrs Cheeky I'd possibly feel bad because I haven't looked after my body....but then again if you are a really nice person and not so wrapped up in your appearance vs my appearance then we'd get along like a house on fire :) Some body beautifuls out there look at the likes of me and go yuk....and that's fair enough cos sometimes I'd think nice body, shit attitude. Lol it's no biggy that you take care of yourself and love your exercise and being toned, I think that's awesome. I'd be the same if I wasn't so lazy I'd slip into a coma!!! Haha can't wait to meet you both....Indy.

I am sure guys are intimidated by particular fit or well endowed guys just the same as girls are about girls.Self doubt just gets amplified in these situations.

I don't believe women are intimidated by fit women. I believe that women are intimidated by any woman more attractive/apprealing than they are.

even though I do workout 3-4 times a week! But I do "feel " fit and strong! And have managed to throw a man or 2 around the bedroom at times Before I started taking better care of myself I would feel intimidated by women with great bodies simply for the reasons Indy said, that it reminded me of my shortcomings and my failure to take care of myself. Then to feel better Id go and have an ice cream lol!!! Now I don't give a shit ! I eat ice cream cause I want to !!

the right word I wonder....are people cowed by your fit presence?...or do they avoid you because they are envious?...unless you have an over inflated ego there is probably someone on the planet to be envious of....nobody is perfect and we all have lacks,some things we can change about ourselves and other things we can't...being fitter is definitely something most of us can change...perhaps Cheeky you might inspire people.....or do you mean that some people are nervous about meeting you because they are too intimidated by your awesomeness and fear rejection?

For me, I must admit being more than a little turned on by a women who looks after herself.However, you look back at your slightly out of shape self, and thing is there ever a universe where someone that good looking would be interested in a guy like me.Sure, you might be motivated, eat well, try to moderate your consumption and exercise to keep things in balanced, and steer clear of the junk food.. but you'd always be unsure if that's enough.And then the thoughts of would a women that good even be interested in you, or how often their eyes (or their hands) might stray onto other guys whom are better looking than yourself.

To me, people who get intimidated by others' beauty, fitness, ability and intelligence are those who are lack of self confidence and value! I am not fit, and I am all curves and soft and that's ok, as I earned my body , had kids and a life and fitness takes time , and time I have spent on other things. My husband is a fitness freak and spends at least two hours a day doing something. good for him, I get exhausted watching him but I admire his determination and anyone else that works hard to get a hard body am I intimidated no, but yes I can be intimidated sometimes by very smart people but not for long as soon as were naked well shit were all the same. that being said, one of my play mates is very fit and buff, and sometimes guys will say why would you want me when you have that? well he is also a very smart and nice guy its not just the body, a body is nothing without the personality that goes with it. big cuddly guys are just as sexy to me as fit hot guys, its the guy that matters not the shell. If men wanted fit women only then non of us curvy girls would get laid, so there is nothing to be intimidated about. Same for men with buff women, some guys love buff women.

A lot of people men and women are insecure in themselves and the way they look ! I think they feel insecure and judged even when there not been . Personality and honesty is so much more important than looks any day just a shame so many don't think that way .
