About 18 months ago Dr Jeanza suggested that there be a thread specifically for whingers to post their gripes in. It was mostly unsuccesful..... lolz.... "I an see them now... "Ive got a poker.. pick me pick me."... and whingers have their entertainment value... who can ever forget the humorous satire from Whitie for example... now that guy was funny.HugsS

As a bit of a risk taker, I can appreciate the poker analogy. To be really successful at poker you need various strategies and not simply rock up, lay down your cash and play with the hand you're dealt. A good player knows when the odds are stacked against him or her and "folds". A good poker player practices and improves over time. They learn from their mistakes. I just don't think there are many good poker players on RHP !!! At times this is like a beginners tournament. Hugs Saturn

RHP is full of players. As for poker you have to know when to bluff, when to raise and when you are beaten. Here is not that different. No means you are beaten, your body and age is the hand you were dealt but bluffing on here will not get you very far at all. But just like any game of chance, you have to be in it to win it. Be prepared to lose before you get that big hand and score.

Justin, your analogy works up to a point. Yes, aggressive play is required/recommended to win a pot in poker. Translating that to RHP, a guy should be confident and have some balls. However, the fish in poker do win on occasion (as many a pro will angrily tell you). As far as bluffing on RHP, you'll find most, if not all, women on here want honesty, not lies.

Its certainly true that there are many here (this site and the others like it) who "whinge". Often they have a perfect right to sadly. Mostly because where the poker analogy fails is that not all the players here are presented with the same odds. This is also true in card games where dealers and players on the button have a comparative advantage, but there at least the advantage tends to rotate around the players. Here, there will likely always be more men than women (it has been up to 10:1 and is something like 5:1 at the moment I think). Here, the very attractive (either sex) tend to stand out from the rest of us by a larger margin than they might elsewhere in life. Like life in general, the guy is expected to make the first move but here that mostly means the ladies aren't paying members and are incapable of making any initial move.These things lead directly to the most common complaints of both sexes here. The guys who endlessly flirt and message women to hear nothing back except the occasional echo of their own voices. The women who are being driven to despair by the neverending crapflood of first contact from guys they're not interested in and possibly might never be interested in.So yes, there are risks in being here (although seriously there are plenty of ways to manage risk) but RHP is no more like poker than it is like any other game. The deck here is stacked. The players are not evenly matched. The table is not a level playing field (to mix a metaphor). The players are often not even playing the same game and their notions of "winning" may be quite different.Hard to imagine that we all don't have some complaints in such an environment.

It's just a guess but I am betting that quite a few of the ladies here would like to sit at the table and play instead of just on one as the walk away trophy if you win. That's half the fun...and a tip? They tend to giggle if they look down and find that they are flying on American Airlines...or happen to be a Pocket Rocket. | Now, watch out for the Maniac who may be the worst or best player at the table and remember a Horse has nothing to loose that is really his in the first place. If you are sitting on the Big Blind you can go Limp...but your best play to win will come off the Button. | If you catch all the cards you need on the Flop...wander down 4th Street before you go All In. Once you pick up the chips...just take her hand and head for the River. | If all else fails, head over to the roulette wheel and remember... | ...you have to spin it to win it. | | ...and never bet more than you can afford to win.

Good analogy! There's a few queens playing with Kings but it's a bluff, they're queens and queens. Aces play high but can go low randomly. There's a joker thats wild (you can be him next hand) you must place $17.90 first, and can raise but no option to call or see. Jacks disappeared about the time a female known as JILL2250 got pregnant. She called her first born Meeka and her second child Stalky. She was hoping for a girl but there were none. . There's a game of 'Snap' but it's called 'Slap' instead (supply your own face-pic for this one). . Gin, 500, Bitch and Euca used to be played but the decks became loaded so the games were abandoned, the decks are still in use. . Yeah I thought I could smell smell something stinky too, RHP say it's not them who are responsible for polluting the river, they say it's all the dead fish causing it.

Hey Justin90210_series3, I noticed a message above mine and looks like you have a fan, enemy, fan then Im not sure coz she removed her dentures and the rest is garbled. She might have a good hand at this poker tournament, say's you got the manwhore card and knows her opponent but has to pee. I'm gonna fold on this one. Hope you don't keep cute furry animals at home?
