Is it racist to say you find someone less sexually appealing due to the singular reason being the race to which they belong?

I have dated men from different races, and if any of them have turned me off it was because of a facet of their unique personality, not their colour or the country they were born in. For me sexual attraction is about chemistry between 2 people regardless of colour, gender etc. To exclude people because of their race is, to me, more shallow than racist.

But it is a very touchy topic on here - there are a couple of dormant volcanoes on here that will truly erupt at even the merest sniff of such a topic. There are certain ethnicities that I do not find attractive, it is that simple. There are people of other ethnicities on here and in life that would not find me (a pale-faced and freckled redhead) attractive, and that is fine by me. It has ever been thus and shall always be. The trick is how you treat others that are different from you - I can have whatever preferences I like but if I treat them as inferior simply because I don't like them - then you can have a problem with me and call me a ''racist'' or whatever till the cows come home. If I treat them with the respect that I treat others however, based on my belief that it is actually okay for me not to like everyone and vice-versa, then those that wish to get all in my face about my ''racist'' preferences can bugger off.

Yes If you says won’t dae you because of your skin colour. But no if there is no attraction to that race for At all for what ever reason then don’t force yourself to lick them . My hubby is a lot darker then me which isn’t hard when I am a redhead. He always it’s not the colour of a persons skin it’s the colour of their heart that determins if there is an attraction or not. No it's not, its just a preference. And we ALL have our own likes and dislikes. I'm simply not physically attracted to certain races and its not a deliberate choice, just nature. This is a topic that is really going to be blown way out of proportion.

Are we racist simply because we are not attracted, sexually, to “non Caucasian’s “ ? It’s our preference & personal taste that may attract us to certain people . Are we entitled to have such a preference / personal taste ? Of course we are !! Does that make us racist? No we don’t feel that it does. The rejected may however use the race card in such an instance .

I dont think its racist. It comes down to personal preference, but theres good and bad in all races so to exclude an entire race is silly cause youve gone along with stereotypes. Like in my experience most Asian guys are bigger than black guys! I go by personalities not colour. The only thing i sometimes cop a bit of flack for is that i dont trust women when it comes to sex, not one bit. Or couples either. In my experience i get fucked around and ignored and disrespected by women 100 times more than guys and Trans.

I'll be honest. For me, it is because I am sometimes embarrassed and ashamed of how "some" (not all) (white Australian Caucasian men) regard women and their partners. Their behaviour. Sometimes, it's not their fault but how they were raised and role modelled. A few years ago, I chose not to date/meet them, (even tho I'm 1/2 Australian). Now days, I can't help like what I like (united nations and all that jizz). Ms Foxy

Is it sexist for me to find men more sexually appealing then women?.... I've dated men from a range of ethnicities, but I definitely have a general "type" We all have physical and non physical traits that attract us, I don't think thats a problem as long as you aren't being cruel or rude to others. I'm not attracted to Asian guys. They remind me too much of family. My very first swingers party I met someone who looked uncannily like my brother which was amusing. Couldn't go there. I'm a little bit racist. I'll admit it.

I don't meet-: Indian/Pakistan/general middle eastern races. Why? Generally because of their attitude of entitlement and their treatment of women within their culture. Does that make me a rascist? Maybe. Do l give a fuck ? No. You asked.

We all know we seek different traits in people we want to meet. From physical to non physical we all desire different things. It’s not racist to look for different characteristics in people and choose those that have characteristics you desire. What’s potentially racist is how you say no you are not interested in this demographic should you be approached by them in a message. Calling them out on their nationality in a not interested message and highlighting this may not be the best way to approach it.
