Is not having a face photo in the public gallery a turn off for you?

Due to work/career reasons, I don't have a face photo. But many profiles say no face, no contact. I have it in my private gallery to share, but I have been told by a recruiter they use software to search social media, including dating apps, to find out anything to tell employers. We can all say that's not right, but it is what it is. What are your thoughts or experience's or approach to profiles without face photo's in the public gallery?

For me, yes no face pic is a turn off. Having face pictures gives people a choice and saves everyone's time. My time is too precious for endless email chit chat just to unlock a face reveal, especially when I have mine out for all to see. Totally respect privacy concerns for those in the Italian/Chinese mafia, ASIO or the French Foreign Legion. But if one is here hiding from their wife, I'm not into that No face, I’m more likely to scroll on. Ms Foxy Ms Foxy

I find it strange that any recruiter would use facial recognition and frown upon anybody using a dating app. Welcome to 2026 I suppose.

For personel reasons , I only keep a face pic in my private gallery. l made this decision a long time ago knowing it was going to effect my chances but so be it.. I only release it to ppl l warm to and that's not a lot.. So you could say that these days I'm basically here for the forums...

I don't have my face up just in case there is someone on here that knows me people can be nasty on social media if they know who you are or you life history.

I don’t share my face pics publicly because I don’t want people knowing that I use this site. I’m 100% single, and if I did have a partner, I’d be open about this. Beyond that, it’s no one else’s business. As far as my work colleagues and general society is concerned, no fucking way would I ever let anyone know I’m on here. Society’s way too judgemental and since I work in corporate where office politics and ‘seeming proper’ is all the rage, people knowing you’re involved in the lifestyle can cause a lot of problems.

I dont have a face pic on public as I work and lead in a male dominated field. I have no desire for any of my 24 male staff or our clients to see me on here. This doesn't mean im hiding anything, just respecting my privacy and keeping work and pleasure separated. I have no problem if men do the same. I dont naturally assume they are married. As long as a people are willing to provide face pics once chatting starts, there should be no issue

Several years ago, we met up and played with a couple from here. They wanted us to take photos of the action, which we did, and emailed to them. A few months down the line, they broke up, and he screenshotted the photos, including her face & nude photos ftom here. He then tried to blackmail her into getting back together . Threatened to send the photos to her family & boss. Which he then did. And even arrived at her work. So having face photos, in a public gallery, on a swingers site, does come with its risks. For us, we keep our face photos private. We also ensure that any nudes of us, do not show faces. We have had a few people, from here, screenshotting our photos. Actually were approached by someone, at a bar, who showed us screenshots . We replied “what is red hot pie ?” We then went on to say that they must have stolen them from our Facebook profiles and from there published them on RHP

Your reasons are 100% valid and your personal decision how you display your profile. You might not get any messages initiated by any women. That’s unfortunately true whether or not you have a face pic in your public gallery. In terms of still getting contacts on here, I can recommend to attach your private photo gallery to your initial message when you contact profiles. I personally find it really awkward to have to ask to see the face. Reason being, chances I don’t feel attracted to his face are 90% (for me personally) and then I have to reply saying thanks for sending but I don’t find you attractive… way too awkward! So for me, I only reply to messages that have the private gallery attached to them. Advice on that gallery: make sure viewing ability is longer than 24 hours, 7 days is best. I have opened numerous messages with gallery access already expired. Then put maybe 2 nice face shots, where you look friendly (better than moody/sultry) and a full body shot with clothes on. Just to show your general body shape. Don’t include any nudes and never send any dic pics unless asked for them. For your own security, keep nudes in a separate private gallery (or just send inside the message) and don’t show your face in nudes. You just don’t want to give anyone something to press you on in case they ever get pissed off with you later.

I work in gov. Police checks have nothing to do if being on dating apps or not. Most employee now do require police checks. It is not a crime or against the law to be here or other apps Ms Foxy

It's a kind of a rock and a hard place situation. We are in the no face pic, no contact camp so we won't contact any profiles without facial photos. That said, if someone messages us we would want them to send a face pic with that first message. To message back and forward and all written stats are good but then have to ask for a pic and then that person isn't what we're looking for, well, it seems kind of mean to reject someone on appearance alone and it would be obvious that's why.

It is what it is. We don't have face pics in our main gallery for privacy reasons but we are the same as you and have them in our private albums. If people don't get in touch because of that then that's on them. If they can't be bothered to ask for a face pic in chat then why should we bother with them.
