As for txt speak... Save it for your phone. There is joy to be found in the way people communicate and those who do it with grace and style are delicious companions.

Sophie....I've missed your presence in the forums over the last week or so!!! Welcome Back!!! Alright...Time for the translation; "Is soooooo many petty surface level judgment's. It's no wonder blokes are confussed. The've been told to be gentelmen, snag's and now metro's. Wadda larf, I've changed in the past for women kind, coz im a deep, caring , unconditional loving soul, But no more! Gal's these dayz it seem's dont actualy know what they want(with of coarse the opvious exeptions mz ice) They seem to b chasing the unobtainable the unbeleiveable witch is only gunna end in tears !" I really disapprove of people that pass judgement too quickly. It confuses me when the fairer sex suggest that heterosexual males manipulate their being in order to impress said females. It is funny, as I have tried to change into a fictitious male, but the fairer sex see straight through my camouflage, so now I'm making a stand! I think it is the fairer sex that is actually confused, because they are lacking the pendulum that balances their swagger when they walk (only miss Ice really knows what she wants). What I am trying to say is that I can only keep up my fake personality for so long, then the fairer sex becomes wise to me and moves on. Ladies, I think you feel you can attract a higher calibre of homosapien than has been trying to contact you, therefore I politely suggest you may lower your standard while perusing the said male profiles on this site. Please don't take it personally, I'm not a bitter person, but being turned down over a prolonged period of time has resulted in me becoming a disgruntled victim of missed opportunity that needs to find a way to be better understood. It seems that the censors are on holidays and the messages of the single guys are actually getting through for a change...maybe if enough of them do the women will realise what it is really like. This is the 3rd or fourth and they are all the same...problem is they are all true, somewhat slightly generalisations but for 90% of the cases true. For the above though I disagree with one thing...for women on this site nothing is unobtainable. There are women on here that guys would cross to the opposite side of the room rather than talk to, whereas on here they can have a guy in bed within 48 hours if they want to. The unfortunate thing is that there are a few very good women on here. Pity they have several hundred guys on their short list.

There's a fine line between TXT speak and Klingon as both are un-decipherable to my ageing mind, so will be totally disenfranchised after a few more generations come along. Wow I'm waiting to see the reaction to Luvenlust's point of view. There's a difference between a plain looking girl and a girl plainly not worth knowing. The plain looking girls often have more of a personality as the exceedingly attractive one's don't need one. Bless is the girl who has both attributes.

It has actually been proven that women undergo a complete personality transformation every seven years (on average). That's why the ladies in your age group always seem to change what they want in men. When you were in your teens they wanted the captain of the footy team because it gave them status. When you were in your 20's they wanted the hot "metro-sexual" dude because he was cool, had mates who were DJ's and could get cheap drugs. In their 30's they want a wealthy lawyer/doctor because they want to start a family and not have to work. In their 40's (because they married the doctor for the wrong reasons) many are now divorced and are now looking for more substantial, less superficial qualities in a man. Others are even looking for a toy boy... Hence the popularity of the term "Cougar"... There are thousands of them out there. Sound familiar ladies? lol. Us poor old me remain the same for our entire lives... we NEVER change. That's why we get confused. What we want in a woman remains constant. We try so hard to please them, and just when we think we have, they go and bloody change again. They even change what foods they eat, who their friends are, clothes - everything. The trick is to accept these changes and DON’T try and understand them... You’ll go mad if you do. Now before all you ladies start screaming at me, none of this is my opinion. All the things I have mentioned are facts and patterns derived from years of surveys and study - all of which can be read on the net or researched at your local library. Google "Allan Pease". He’s pretty well known so a lot of you would have heard of him for sure. He's a relationship expert and really interesting. I have been lucky enough to see him conduct a live seminar and it was brilliant. It was very informative and very funny... funny because it's true! He even gives you tips on picking up men/women that actually work! The monkey eyebrow one is a winner ;) I’d like to know what his takes on internet dating sites such as this one are... Would be very interesting.

twas clearly a bit of fun, not quite a troll, but I'd suggest certain aspects fall under the "truth in jest"Ridge: you left out the second "R" in your name, Eric and Queen Stephanie would not be pleased :p (though I suspect if you can tolerate Allan Pease for a whole seminar you can tolerate nearly anything - some of his stuff might be spot on, but I just can't stand the guy for some reason) (nice post BTW, though perhaps you may want to dig the flame suit out of the cupboard ;) )

Hi Sophie... I thought that might cause a bit of a stir :P To answer your question - I reckon change and growth are related for sure. I agree with you. It’s just a question of whether that growth is positive or negative. Some humans will change for the better, and some not for the better. And yeah you're right... Men do want the same from women when they're 16 as when they're 26, 36, 46, 56...... Sex is a huge part of what we want. It’s no secret and I never said it was a good thing... haha. Males are boring, very primitive and ridiculously easy to please. Just feed us, let us have sex with you and let us watch the cricket - and we'll truly love you forever and spoil you to death. We don't care whether your mother likes us or hates us, we don't care what type of car you drive, we don't care if you go out to a strip joint with the girls and turn your phone off - we'll even tell you your bum "looks great" in that skirt... We just want to make YOU happy so we can get back to the sex, food and cricket thing... lol. You’re happy, we’re happy :D It’s actually not my argument... I stole it, as I mentioned. lol. I know the females probably don't like it, but I reckon it’s a fascinating topic worthy of discussing in the forum.

Me being inflammatory, extraneous and off-topic? But if I cant understand the topic then surely that's extenuating circumstances. All those who have idolised and emulate the antics and embrace the contrived languages of their comic book heros or science fiction television shows, think that swords and dragons is real life and have substituted english for what can be input by one finger on a numeric mobile phone keypad whilst avoiding pedestrians and oncoming traffic... are obviously the future. So please excuse the failed attempts of old fossils like I who still reads books and newspapers and buys music from a record store... for their lack of comprehension. I'm wondering how long it will be before these things are made part of the high school curriculum, considering the education system is usually 5 years behind the needs of industry and commerce. Who would have thought 10 years ago that something called Google would re-sculpt the online landscape? Who would have thought that gobbledygook would take over from english as the dominant language? Now if 2hot4who is on a winner and his messages win many hearts... then I say more power to him. So please no offences meant... just trying to come to terms.

change is good...but changing doesn't mean you should change yaself to please others...oh no, no, no...change means that ya have had an experience and its result...has given you new perspective...as well as a different focus...i think as i meet new people...the parts which they show to me alter...albeit ever so slightly...not just the way i view my life, but also how i view the world...i think that i am slightly different every day of my life...and sometimes that "different" makes me feel great and sometimes not so great...but i am still changing and evolving...cheersjose...
