  Rather than in person. 😊 It is up to you really. 👍 I suppose it depends if it's first contact too. I liked having a template written up, that could work for you depending on how personal you want to get. It worked for us without a need to get into reasons and explanations that can make things awkward. Cheers, 🍑

  Templates can be written and saved on your messages page. We didn't say much in ours but made sure to thank them for contacting us, then went on to say we didn't feel we matched, and all the best in their time on RHP. 😊👍

  Three sentences. "Thank you for your Time. We are following up with another. We wish you all the Best." it's simple, direct and informing them of your choice, without being negative or anything towards them. Ms Foxy

  What’s wrong with saying “thanks but no thanks, good luck in your search”?? How other people deal with rejection is not for you to take responsibility for.... You deal with your feelings of rejection so let others own theirs..... Mr Dragon...

  Is so cold ? Tells me you cant be bothered giving a lil more of your time ? There's no real nice way, but there are ways to say things without a negative overtone...

  This is so hard to do, I don't think there really is a answer. People will always feel rejected no matter your response, but as you say, how do you let them down gently, thats the hard part. Your too far away - We can travel Im very busy - let us know when your not busy Etc No matter what you try gently, they try to work around it. Im (fem) lucky im seeking first female to female experience so its a easy off for me with men. And have not yet had a female I've had to let down gently.

  Same as ‘Us Now’ That’s the reply I send “Thanks for your message, however I’m looking for something a little different. All the best” It’s honest and not harsh.
