I think there is issue of confidentiality. People wouldn't want others to be able to see in their profile that they have disease. It is a good idea but I think in terms of practicality people won't put anything in or leave it blank- very much like attractiveness, no one will put 'I am unattractive' in their profile, so you'll end up with Attractive or Very attractive which aren't very helpful. Regardless, by law, it is mandatory to notify if they have disease before engaging in sexual act with another person.

I get where you're coming from OP but that info will almost never be voluntarily offered unless asked directly I imagine. And even if that info is offered freely (like on our profile) most don't even bother reading it! 😅 - Posted from rhpmobile

I understand that there are already dating sites like this. I think there is a herpes dating site??? Ive not googled it but I’m sure you will find some.

Nope no longer mandatory to disclose your disease as of October 2017. Now you only have to have taken "reasonable" steps to reduce transmission. What "reasonable" means hasn't yet been tested in the courts. - Posted from rhpmobile
