O_S...no diabolical plan in play :) What is in play is that Melbourne becomes consumed with AFL final series after this date, and if we wanted to avoid that it would take takes us out until early October for a meet and greet. And that may or may not suit the organisers ;-)

And that may or may not suit the organisers ;-) they have actually made the Friday before Grand Final a public holiday....shows the level of intensity for AFL down here. Nothing can compete with that. lol

Since we downgraded to guest, we cant see whos 'registered interest' for the night. Any chance you could give us a rough idea of numbers and a breakdown of couples vs single males/females ratio? Thanks for organising these types of events, allows us to meet a bunch of people all at once! S&A

There is one group who are notorious for registering but who seem incapable of finding the venue on the night, or post-event provide a perfectly valid excuse such as the dog ate my homework). But to give you some idea.... you can be counted amongst roughly 50% of the registered attendees, give or take a few.

as they usually are! Great to see the regulars and meet some lovely new folk. I'm sure we kept the bar staff very entertained all night as well. I am loving Melbourne for putting on a fabulously warm Sunday for recovery day. Everyone should be home safe and sound by now... although some are still in the air and hopefully getting some much needed sleep

Recovering from the hangover from hell! 😒 it proved to be another great night, the people maketh the event, so thank you to all for joining us last night. Here's hoping you made some new friendships 😉 whatever they may entail. Coz we're gluttons for punishment, the talk at the brekkie table this morning was a Dirty Santa themed meet and greet in Melbourne in early December, so to all you sexy interstaters start saving your pennies😊 To my partner in crime and friend (Shazza) and to our beautiful friends who joined us, it was awesome spending time together. I think last night, there was the most couples I have seen attend a M&G. Lovely to meet some new people, interstate and local. Singles were hard to find...women outnumber the men again!C'mon guys, get off the keyboards and out to real life meetings.

Despite arriving late (I have another party to attend beforehand), I'm glad I made the effort to attend my first M&G. I was welcomed on arrival by the lovely Sharon and was introduced around the room and made to feel at ease straight away. Lots of laughs and a lot of fun, would certainly recommend the event to anyone thinking of attending the next one, I know I will be making every effort to attend, thanks to everyone for a great night.

Sounds like another awesome night was had. I would have been there with bells on as i always am but was in Bali. I love the sound of an xmas inspired one, i have just the sexy Mrs Claus outfit for the occasion... 🎄
