I definately need some feel good vibes right now. Stirry you are a true gentleman seriously where have you been my whole life? The nicest guy I have ever met anywhere was the first guy I encountered on this site, he will always have a special place in my heart. For this post. Ive met some amazing male friends on here. From the little but thoughtful things, like texting me if Ive been quiet to make sure everythings ok, to cooking dinner for me and my son, ferrying me to the airport or nights out ( I dont have a car) surprise gifts, including some lovely wine left on my porch from a guy before he went away for a couple of weeks, a brand new chefs knife.....was that a hint, ha ha! ; 0 to a shoulder to cry on, and one lad who moved away and still sends me photographs of things he knows I like. The guys Ive met for dinner or drinks who treated me like a lady. Its why I put "blessed with friendship" on my profile. Im very very lucky in that I know these guys and I think the world of them. Ive been invited to go on weekends away, and spent a lovely weekend in Sydney. Sounds like youve met a lot of gems too, Meander. Hurrah for the RHP good guys! xxxxx

Not long after I joined RHP one man offered to help me move house. That was 3 years ago and today we still see each other. Just shows that there are some very genuine and caring men out there.

My best friend and the person I tell my inner most thoughts to was met online 18 months ago.( on a similar site to this one) we started off as fb's but it outgrew that after a few months and became a special connection that I never expected to find. We both went on seperate sexual journeys but were always there for each other as friends and emotional support.We will never be intimate again. Love him like a brother, and he loves me like a sister.My family love him, but just dont understand that I can have such a strong bond with a male and not be romantically involved. But its an honest and true friendship that I am so glad I found in a place like this.

similar experiences to those Koko and willowtree have already mentioned and also a long term relationship that ended recently. It's the nice guys and wonderful experiences that keep me on RHP. Thanks to the lovely men I've met and yet to meet. LG

Thanks for this post Meander... It's nice to see something 'totally positive' and with no 'excepts' or 'buts'. There are decent men around, who do simply want to make others happy and to touch their lives in a positive and pleasant way. But it's not just men who are 'surprisingly' generous, kind, gentle and concerned... I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple of lovely ladies (in person) who've become friends and whom I know would be there for me in a flash, if and when I had the need (not sexual. just as a caring and concerned friend). I met a wonderful man in Bondi, right on the beach. He greeted me with roses, we ordered (too much) Sangria and spent the next three hours making out on the terrace. The waiter serving us commented on the fact how nice it was to see two people so in love. We didn't tell him this was our first date. (Then we had sex on the jam-packed 380 bus from Bondi to Oxford St before going strap-on shopping, but that's another story.)

My husband, though I didn't meet him here, has enabled me to grow into the person I am today. Without his open mind and open heart, we wouldn't be here on RHP and I wouldn't have met so many incredible men. To my very gorgeous male (married friends) both here and Queensland, you have helped me tick a number of things off my fuckit list.
