I've done a couple of topics like this before. Basically just share a song or piece of music that currently expresses your mood, feelings, emotions, thoughts etc. I find music to be so cathartic for both the good and bad times in life, and I know there are quite a few music lovers on here so go ahead and share with the rest of us. I'll start off with 'Sorry' by Gypsy and the Cat, a song that I've loved for a long time but has been in my head again for the last few days. Embodies past hurts and the knowledge that a lot of the time you're not going to get the closure you want from people, but also expresses the need to move on and try to leave those hurts behind regardless. Sounds gross buts its not. Basically a song about loving someone warts and all, with the baggage they bring to the table. This is just some of the lyrics. Its on repeat ATM even though I'm not in love with anyone. One of the thing I like about meeting new people is hearing their story. This a couple of lines of the lyrics. There's a song by Passenger, "All The Little Lights'', I'm not going to reprise all the lyrics as I can't be arsed but it's about how we are all born with all these little lights in our heart and as our life progresses our misdeeds and disappointments snuff out these lights one by one. He recounts experiences from his life where ''one went out'', there's a verse where he talks about fishing with his uncle, his uncle died and now he fishes no more. I choke up every time I hear that bit. I normally don't pay much heed to lyrics, most are nonsense, but this songs' lyrics spoke to me the first time I heard it.
