I normally don't bother with New Year's Resolutions, but this time I'm going with getting more exercise. I'd get myself a personal trainer if I had the cash....wonder if I can find myself someone who'll help me in exchange for other forms of payment

Mine is to do something I've wanted do to for years but haven't had the courage to. And no, it's not RHP related! This thing will take every ounce of metaphorical balls I have grown so far and will either end very well and lead me down a new and amazing path in life, or it will end very badly and much hugs and wine will be required. Either way, I'm sick of waiting for life to happen to me, carpe diem baby!

I want to spend more time with my daughter, buy a house, do some more fishing, start working day shift and continue to eat better and exercise. I deliberately have lots so I can say "oh 2 out of 6 ain't that bad" haha

I bought myself a journal for change and reflection and will record my daily things and see where I'm at this time next year. 2014 will be a year of further education and professional development primarily for me. Also a personal growth opportunity and resolving to be good to me more abd to become more worldwise.....exercise more, cook with passion and surround myself with friends and loved ones but also taking time out just to reflect on my progress and inner well being. Hmmm and maybe attempt to break my younger man voodoo......

I don't normally do resolutions but going from the 2013 I've had, I'd have to say that I'd like to resolve to love more freely and to not be so guarded around others.

After reading an epic 40 pages of one mans struggle becoming a groundswell movement for the butterment (sic) of Man (capital M), Lord Kizza, I; my son; my son's son; and the son of my son's son recognise you, and the valour of your motivations and the motions set forth in formation of the prodigious, prestigious, pre-eminent, and omnipotent force formerly known as "The Union". Known for my unique skill set, and vast array of talents, I beseech thee, within the discretion of your wisdom, to bestow upon me the benefits of membership, and, should it be within your grace, the honour of an official Union role and title. For the love of fine wordsmanship and swordsmanship, it is my New Years Resolution to lie down all that is of lesser importance than Union representation, should I be given the role of orator, curator (in its literal meaning of keeper of a cultural heritage institution), writer of The Union manifesto, or even legal representation (notwithstanding Acts of God, unforeseeable loopholes, and circumstances upon which I have no control which would render me otherwise powerless in continuing the cause), to fight for all that is deemed worthy of Union attention and aforementioned rhetoric. As I am planning on sleeping with public enemy No. 1 mid January, I would appreciate my New Years Resolution beginning on February the 1st, unless of course, I was designated with the honour of the Union title of Human Relations???

But that's just not going to happen. I tried earlier this month as a goal to prepare for Tough Mudder... Went pretty well, and killed the TM challenge... and haven't been to the gym since, haha! Ever since I went bungy jumping in NZ, I really really want to go Sky Diving solo!! So maybe my goal/resolution can be to get my Solo ticket there.. Seems achievable! What else though? Break the initial shyness around women? I tend to do ok when I have time to think but throw me 1 on 1 with a pretty lady in a pub and I can be tongue tied until I get my bearings!
