People who are self-centred generally make poor dominants, because they don't care or understand the another's situation, feelings, and motives. The movie 'Nine 1/2 Weeks' (1986) follows one such relationship, that has promise but runs off the rails. Some people hate, and some love this movie... as it deals with a very dark side of sexuality that many people deny in society and in themselves. From the novel by Elizabeth MacNeil, 'Nine 1/2 Weeks' is in no way the average love story. Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger are two lonely New Yorkers, who are both ready for an affair. It's an erotic story about an art dealer who is going through a divorce. She's feeling a bit lost as her sensuality has taken a nose dive, as has her opinion of herself. On meeting a smooth and supremely confident seducer, she embark on a 9 and a 1/2 weeks odyssey of discovery, based on sex games and power. A vanilla will think that this is some sort of high class pornography, but this film is not about sex and nudity, it is more about control and power. While their romance is at first sweet and romantic, things begin to quickly change. There is an edge of danger in everything he does, taking things one step further every time. He has his world under his control and that includes his sexuality towards her. A vanilla will have no idea what drives a man to be this controlling or a woman to allow it. Without thinking of the consequences, the man manipulates the woman into doing what ever he wants. Continually blindfolding and engaging all her senses, making her crawl, feeding her strawberries, making her perform an enticing striptease, masturbating, has sex involving food, has sex at the top of a tall building and copulates in the freezing rain. She has never been with a man like this before. She feels hypnotise as she submits to living his fantasy. A vanilla will be confused by the ambiguity of the rape scene. They will have difficulty discerning whether she is being raped, when at first she seems to be violated, then realises that it arouses her enough to let it continue, and ends up enjoying it. He doesn't care what she feels, yet she continues to give into his demands, doing things that he likes. But the time comes for her to question the nature of the relationship and ask herself, Is this really healthy? Her breaking point comes when she finds there is a difference between love and submission. She is blindfolded in a hotel room, to only find he has arranged for a hooker to also participate. The game is over when the balance of power shifts and she leaves... hoping he'll follow, whilst he expects she will return.

Movies. I can watch a movie today and watch it again tomorrow as if I've never seen it before. I do love Kim Basinger but I don't remember what I've seen her in. She has great tits. When I watch a movie I go into this trance like a zombie and I become absorbed for a while. I don't hear white noise like I can now for instance... maybe that's just cicadas. Idk. The good thing is, i can watch Sylvester Stalone movies over and over again. My one DVD is "First Blood". Hmmm I must love that movie. I think I'll go and watch it now. Hugs Gaz

As they say... one good thing about having Alzheimer's is that the jokes never get old. And the sex is a bit like the 2004 movie '50 First Dates' with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, where she has short term memory loss and can't remember each individual day. Now there would be the ultimate no strings attached affair. My short term memory loss is with names... can remember the faces. Unfortunately can also remember all the embarrassing moments too.

and Kim Basinger played a few well known roles...including..The stepmother in My Stepmother Is An Alien...Vicky Vale in the first Batman movie...The actress that ends up with Russel Crowe at the end of LA Confidential...And Eminem's mum in 8 Mile.Just coz....BJxxx
