Well since children and families can be at the beach I would say trying to be a little circumspect and hiding is better. :)

If you are in an area with lots of others you should respect their ability to enjoy the beach without anyone trying to pester them.If you are in an area where there are fewer people and you get a hardon then as long as the others dont mind then show it off.I have often got a hardon at nude beach and find if you are not offensive others dont mind.Leggo

Ding. Same for the nude beaches I have been to, but that is up off the beaten track in the bushes.... Not on the beach itself. I don't know nudist etiquette about hardons, but to me if there are families and children on the beach you should try and be discreet about it until it goes away.

Please for the love of god don't confuse nudist with open minded swingers ? Yes I'm well aware of that beach (my c n I gave it a go few times) it's noted as a no go zone I'm nudist sense ? Warning is a nudist I think... He just gets upset with all the yahoos turning up at the beach hoping to see a nude Miranda Kerr look a like or all those people that act inappropriately and ruin it for people that go to a nudist beach because they genuinely enjoy being nude and just want to enjoy their day like Warning does.

I don't want to see anyone laying with a hard on. To me ' its not a good look and something I'd be conscious of not to do. If the sun feels good after a swim, there's a good chance I could bar up. Ok some people got a little fired up. I was laying on my back with my eyes closed. I wasn't trying to get an eyeful of any nudists around me. I was half asleep when I realised I was getting hard (happens to every guy) so I decided to roll over. The couple next to me are the ones that said I didn't have too. Although I did anyway. That's why I asked for a consensus on the etiquette. I am not a die hard nudist. But I do 10-15 times a year enjoy the feeling of getting my gear off and laying in the sun and walking into the ocean naked in public and at home around the pool.
