there were looonnng stretches of pure brown sand, glorious sun, tempting blueish green water...and only two people on it...a female friend and myself...Rest assured there were no 70yos (or 20, 50, 60), no beach volley ball, no sex, but a mix of ages. :P

When the weather allows, and let's face it this year hasn't been the best, we get to Grays Lane at Byron or if feeling too energetic to Kings. Grays is a great place to meet people or just to relax in the sun. For those European types, please use the sun block as it shows and we really feel for you later that day. As for shenanigans, we have never seen any on the beach but you know it goes on, particularly behind the line of sandhills where there are some great little sheltered hideaways. Most go there just for the sun and socialising although we would like to see more people stop and say hi. The lake is where it can happen more often but if there are children present people are respectful. Also the gays get a bit ansy if you play openly there - they like to think the lake is for them only - or they are jealous. We haven't seen one game of voleyball either. Ages range from families with small children, all the way up to oldies at 60 or beyond, there is no general rule or custom. For us, we are both deeply tanned by this time of the year, we do use blocs but I ama totally olive skinned guy throw caution to the wind and Mrs. Ty just loves the tan although she has to be careful early onin the process.

Well... I just go to get a bit of sun on my bum, have a bit of a perve and do a bit of skinny dipping just because it's nice not to wear clothes all the time. I take my mp3, a bottle of water, a hat, and a towel. Some people are friendly and make small talk... after a short stint in the sun I will move into the shade, maybe take another swim... and pack up and go home.Up the back of some beaches there are tracks through the bush... some people.. usually guys build themselves a little nest in there so they can lie around naked in private... and no doubt at all sometimes.. some of them have sex and put the liberty and freedom of others at risk by ruining the reputation of the practice of nude bathing. Mind you... a quick fuck in the bushes is always good fun... so I don't really frown on the idea if performed very discretely... but howling and moaning and screaming "oh fuck yeah" ... so that the while beach can hear the audible pleasures.... that's just tempting fate for a complaint... as ... there may not be children using thebeach for nude sunbathing.. but certainly there are people who also use the beach and rocks for fishing and they aren't there for tanning their arses or having a shag in the bushes... a little decency and respect please.. is that too much to ask for?HugsStalky

for the most part people are respectful and don't play in public, however there those men (?) who come to nude beaches purely to perve. we've had guys sit 10 feet away and quite openly masturbate so we could see. ruins the whole atmosphere. this had happened even when there has been families (including children) using the beach. on Grays Lane we have seen this and worse, and its definitely not what we are there for. generally the people there are enjoying the freedom to be naked outdoors and in the sun, the few that are there for sex and titillation are the ones who would potentially ruin it for all.

Went to pull in to a cosy little beach and......OOPS! Almost too late we find it's not only a nudist beach but one of the men had a huge erection. Sped away quickly as we had young children aboard. I don't know what happens on nudist beaches but I doubt I will be returning anytime soon lol.

Not sure where your nude beach would be - lade bay or whatever but again, let these jerks know how you feel. Generally, nothing really offensive happens bit on the odd occasion you must have the balls to speak up. It's a shame as we really enjoy going to the nude beach and to have these wallies ruin this and future experiences for you is a shame. Of course you could fight back and have your man go over and wank all over him. When kids are involved it's important that action is taken.

We often visit the nudist beach @ Greys lane when we visit the g/coast, we have had a LOT of fun there, both together and once with a couple, just gotta sus out the lay of the land, EVERY TIME we have gone there we are amazed by the amount of single men, whether gay or not who frequent the beach, and the lake... it is well known which end to take when you visit the beach, to the left is often where the gay AND couples get active and to the right is usually family and couples/men who just want to enjoy the sun and relax. BUT.............. there are also those who sneak around the bushes behind the sand dunes with cameras and video cameras who take pictures and have a jolly old time there getting off on observing the scenes below, my man literally chased a guy up the dunes one day and he took off like a kangaroo, jumping through the thick scrub you literally have to crawl through to get to the edge to perve, I was literally in tears, from laughing so hard - it turns a lot of people off relaxing and enjoying the liberty of being naked in public when dick heads like that ruin it for everyone.... there was a lovely couple near by who were in shock, and they literally freaked out and packed up and went home !! (THIS HAPPENED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BEACH)SO............... be very observant when you go to Greys lane especially, BOTH SIDES OF THE BEACH....... The lake is lovely, and is well known gay meet n fuck place, we have gone there after the beach, swam in the fresh water, it is colored from the tea trees, and paper barks, but so nice to wash off the salt water, a lot of young families go there too, so be considerate if you want to get naughty!!All in all we have enjoyed our time there, just be careful and ready to to chase any wankers who want to spy!!

We went to Grays yesterday, dead set when we got to the parking area we counted 20 cars and thought - gee could meet some people. On the beach there was one other couple and 4 or 5 single guys just doing the strutt stuff up and down the beach. Where were the rest - in the dunes obviously. When we left there were at least another 15 cars there yet no increase in numbers on the beach.

We recently visited Bells Beach and it was the best experience to date, clean water, no creepy guys perving, a few couples, discretely playing which was fine, and the day was just magic!!Well worth the trip!! But no beach games were happening down the nudist end of the beach!!

I go to a (legal) clothing optional beach here in Nelson Bay called Samuria. It has turned out to be one of the best beaches I have been too, all because of the locals. It seems that it is 'managed' by one of the naturalist groups who always seem to be there. They will actively discourage any single guy that plonks his towel too close to a woman, will definitely tell a guy who turns up and stays clothed that this is a clothing optional beach and whilst he doesn't have to disrobe, if he stays dressed he will be watched for behaviour. Last time I was there a bunch of teenage boys turned up, and were suddenly confronted by not what they wanted to see, a bunch of old farts blocking their view of any youngish woman. Yeah they got the hint lolIt does shit me off when people (and there have been some here on another older thread bragging about it) who go to a recognised nudist beach to have sex. For starters, it is illegal and secondly that isn't why the vast majority go there. I have found those that do go just to have sex tend to A: complain when some guy starts wanking - hey if you advertise you will get a buyer; and B: tend to be naraccistic exhibitionist who thrive on any attention they can get. Look if the moment gets to you, go into the dunes, there are often families about and they might not equate nudity with public sex.Nudist and clothing optional beaches etc can be great, nothing beats swimming naked etc - best feeling in the world. And what I really like is that everyone is basically the same there, all ugly bits are in view and the majority just don't care what everyone else looks like. Mooka

Grays is usually fairly tame, but there has been days when families have been on the beach (nude and/or dressed), and still these freaks cant keep their hands off themselves. we dont invite these fools, they take it upon themselves to behave this way. and no, its not inevitable, it happens because people allow it. just saying.

Well, Mikeanshell, you have sourred me on. From now on i will take pics of them as well as averbal warning. These freaks are ruining what should be a pleasurable time. We meet some great and nice people there who only exoect peace and solitude. As I have said before, I have never even seen play at the beach. maybe we could all when there identify ourselves to each other and just act as a unit. The lake is returning, more couples are going there andno one group has the right to force others to not frequent because of their unsavioury behaviour. having said all the, people, it's not that bad, it's only very isolated incidents but if we let them know of our displeasure they will get the message.

its ok. am just winding things up.......but yea there are way too many guys taking liberties with their behavior at Grays, we think they forget that the beach is not there for just them, others do enjoy going there too, and its not always for reasons that surround their sexuality etc........something should be done...........

Hi my fellow nudist,, ok I'm a new guy to the scene and I must say I totally love it, the feign if total relaxed and unashamed of it,, the down side to it us I a fellow single guy and don't want to be look down in because I want to share the experience with like minded nudies,, seems from what iv read is that most single guys are total pigs or overly trolls,, not me I must say I'm very reserved and shy and would never intrude in others little but if space they are enjoying,, If anyone would be able to give me some idea of where to meet like minded single females to share the day and feel relaxed in each other's company would be greatly appreciated, well I'm hoping that I can meet some lovely friendly souls and relax without feeling I'm being judged for being another single guy with my unclothed body free to the sun water and breeze,, Chris of the Gold Coast

I will admit that the first time i went to a nudist Beach was for sex. The second time as well. Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I really quite enjoy the sun, the feeling of freedom and the working on my tan. Where I live, the nudist beach is frequented by older men that are wanting sex. But once told that I'm not interested they have become great people to talk to. I'm still yet to meet a grumpy person out there and everyone has a smile and wave for everyone else. No volleyball though. :-) - Posted from rhpmobile

But we did see lots of other bouncy bits :P Mainly single guys, couples and older folks. All of average appearance. Then there was this one exceptional beauty who stood out from the rest. A 41 year old Asian woman who had the hottest ass. Ok, I added that last bit in to boost my ego. Everyone was well behaved (except maybe the two of us, while in the water. Whoops!) The reasons why I love it - I love the freedom of being stark naked and noone caring what you look like, love the feel of the warm sun on my body (some part more than others), love the crystal clearness of the cold water. It's just a nice way to chillax really. - Posted from rhpmobile

I went nude at a very quiet beach for the first time over in NZ while on holiday this summer a few times by myself & absolutely loved it, very thrilling & free. I didn't go to a well known nudest beach over here in Melbourne as I was scared that I'd embarrass myself by getting a hard on at the beach & really that wouldn't be cool & bad etiquette.Like you Nudest_dreadguy I just want to go & relax & enjoy the sun all over, I'm not there to perv or hook but it would be nice to join other like minded people. However having said that I need to control that awesome feeling down there so that it doesn't pop up & say hellooooo. How do other guys deal with the urge of an impending erection, or do they have that problem? When I went to the beach I swam, sunbathed & wondered around enjoying the sun the freedom & nobody around but I was 1/2 erect, I just want to go without that worry & embarrassment of that.BTW if a lovely lady or couple did want to hook up, awesome but thats not my intention.

I'm sure you'll love the freedom of being naked & enjoying the sun on all of you especially down there. I have never been to a nudest beach so I can't comment on what goes on..... I totally agree with you Luvnya69 it would be very off putting seeing some bloke batting off freely on the beach, I'd hope that doesn't actually happen. However if you're into dogging & you were in a semi secluded place where children weren't going to wonder in on your playtime then fine & some would probably enjoy having someone jack-off while they played. Are there places where you can go & have your own privacy, I don't know, maybe someone can answer that for us?Are there places in Melbourne?

We travel an hour and 15 to Pt Addis near Anglesea - it is a bit of a walk to the clothing optional section which is right down the far end of the beach. There are a mixed bunch of nudists, a lot of male couples/guys, quite a few older couples, and a few single males. There are also a few couples around our age too.... all varying body shapes n sizes.... we have seen couples get cheeky and we have blessed the beach a few times when we have stayed later and not many people around.... it's great being naked, swimming and the beach is gorgeous.... a bit cooler now but still worth the drive.

my thoughts on Grays (with an "A") I frequent Grays as often as I canI am a single straight guyI also get these weird people (GUYS) sit within extreme close proximityI actually go up to them and ask if they mind moving, there answer is, "its a free beach", so I reply with "yeah its a free beach, and its a FUCKING LONG BEACH TOO - MOVE"I like Mikes idea of taking a good face pic quite like anything in life, it is the minority that spoil it for the majority ... I pretty much go to the RIGHT of the carpark and make myself at home with my umbrella, chair and eskyI make a day of it as I like to get to the beach, nude up and enjoy being naked reading, swimming, walking and even sleeping ! I take the occasional walk in both directions, all the way down to the creek towards Byron and in the opposite direction as far as I want to goI have been approached by many a guy, some just polite to say hi (but probably testing the waters) but then I get others who just come straight out with "wanna play" .... I answered to one guy, "where is your cricket bat and ball ...." he looked at me strangely, so I said "you did want to play cricket didnt you !!!" he got the idea I appreciate that we have the beautiful location and opportunity to enjoy a legal nude beach, lets not ruin thatthis beach and the lake is for the BENFEFIT of ALL that means singles, couples, family's CHILDRENbe respectful of all of the above, especially familys with childrenif you wouldnt like someone doing something obscene in front of your family, then DONT do it in front of someone elses there are plenty of people (no doubt) that enjoy play time at any nude beach (which when you think about it is NO different to any other public place except that its legal for people to be naked as opposed to the local park) but if the need arises then do it DISCRETELY - others dont want to see, and for those that do, they will be there without you even knowing !! all I say is, be respectful and we can all enjoy it for many years to comedont let the minority spoil it for the majorityif you take offense, let them know enjoy the serenity of nature ;)

Being naked & outside is one of my favourite things... gets me hot, wet & flustered just thinking about it:). But I'm not into outdoor sex if its not somewhere completely private, and wouldn't dream of getting even slightly naughty if there were families, children around. Everyone's entitled to their own beach experience without witnessing 'shenanigans' from me lol. Much love, Mickelle.

Have had a few interludes at the nude beach in the past but only really in the last few months have I embraced it as much as possible down at swannies! Love getting my kit off and just feeling light and free, especially in the water - such a great feeling! And like Mickelle I too get rather turned on by aspects of it, usually only when I'm with a friend though; the associated danger/restriction of being naked but not being able to do much of anything, in the daylight at least, is very intriguing! You sound like an interesting and sexy lady Mickelle, I'll have to drop you a line!!

they are clothing optional beaches and a lot of people will leave some clothes on which is OK, many women go topless while their man goes naked. So there is no necessity to be nude, it's up to you. If it's an official clothing optional beach there is no risk of a fine, if it's a traditional but unsanctioned one a fine is possible but unlikely and somewhat akin to a littering fine anyway, pffft. Most people have large umbrellas or even better those cave like sun shades, and it can be fun as a couple to hang together naked in your own shade with plenty to eat and drink and savour mmmmmm. I've no desire for melanoma but love the feeling a swimming naked, so I prefer to spend my time between shade and the water. Birdie Beach is good as the rock formations create pockets of both shade and privacy, and the sandbank in the corner is good for body surfing. As others have said there is the likelihood of sexual activity at these beaches, both planned and impromptu which can be fun and also is easily avoided, again it's up to you.

Ok guys having not been to a nude beach "per se" but I have been nude at a beach a few times & loved it.Because the feeling of being free felt soooo good I found it difficult NOT getting an erection but only just.... My question is to those that frequent nude beaches. Do other guys have this feeling too & do some get hard whilst enjoying the sun?How do others react when this happens & do they cover up? Ladies whats your take on all this? I see a couple have also commented about getting all hot & bothered about getting naked at beaches & I suppose it is easier for women not to get noticed that they're hot & horny v's guys. Love to hear your about your thoughts & experiences.
