We're very strongly considering upgrading our account to a paid membership, but one thing that stands in our way is that we really don't want to look at what we consider to be a plethora of very unattractive cocks, or close ups of pasty people with green tinged skin bumping, literally, uglies. (Sidenote, flash is no-body's friend, people. Spend $10 on a tripod and use some warm lamps, please!) That's not to say either of us are adverse to looking at a nice intimate action shot or a trophy cock shot in macro, but the overwhelming majority on here are shockers, and they seriously detract from the visual aesthetic of the RHP experience (IMHO.) But, rather than being Cnuts trying to stop the tides of men waving their willies to the web (an impossible task if ever there was one), we figure it would be far easier for RHP to develop a setting for members to 'Show all' or 'Hide all' 'adult' rated photos. All it would take would be a slight modification of the code that filters out the member from non-member displays. (Oh my God, that's one of the best inadvertent puns I've ever made!) Then if you had them disabled, maybe you could activate it in a session if there was a single profile you wanted to view (or if there are no new horror/comedy films out and you need some entertainment?) Would others be interested in something like this, or are we just unusually delicate? (ok, so it's the Mr that's the delicate one - he's shocked when he sees some of the pictures she gets sent!) Do any other members regularly check RHP while eating, and then instantly regret it? Mr Tryst & Ms Shout (but mostly Mr Tryst) Ps. An alternative title for this thread was going to be "Members' members."

    As a paid member, I've seen more cock shots than I care to remember. They are on my turn-offs list for a reason, and have been why I thought "not happening" instantly many times..For me, putting a cock pic up tells me something about a person, especially if the quality, angle etc. are horrible. If a man really can't see that a green-tinged penis hidden in a forest of pubes won't cut it (uncut it?), I don't think we'll have much in common.For that reason alone I find these pics valuable. And yes, some of them are bloody hilarious. .So what if they are hidden? Will I risk being interested, only to be turkey-slapped when I do decide to take a peek? Would that be lulling* people into a false sense of security? Or would it make me/us more open to the person attached to the pecker?....* Lul is the Dutch word for cock, but I guess that pun is only funny to me.

    I know other sites have an "Adult Mode" which you can turn on and off. Can come in handy at times, esp if you have kids in the house! And it's not just cocks that can be fugly. Those close up vagina shots are far from attractive! Why would anyone put that as their profile photo? Seriously? Completely baffles me!

    Some people like cock shots, some like ass shots. Some have an artistic flair for black and white photos of shoulders, have a good camera, and a tripod, and can use them. If ppl realise it's all ok, and stop trying to put down others photos we might all be happier. Mr Ozz likes to see the merchandise, and couldn't care less about photo quality. Mr Ozz likes to see shoulders and eyes.

    I don't understand what you find annoying about cock shots. I have a couple cock pics in my PG, and that is because I get asked for it 100% of the time - when I get a match. Given the context of this site I do not see anything wrong with this. Or point in complaining about it. But I do wish rhp was a platform that encouraged users to put effort into their profiles.

That, my dear slickz, is because you - I'm assuming since you're orientation is listed as straight - don't view the range of cock shots out there, some of which are horrendous and a total turn-off. Yours is in your PG, that's fine, and personally that's where I think they all should be but then again now that I'm a guest it doesn't matter. I also find it interesting that you are asked 100% of the time for a cock pic, I have never asked a guy for a photo of his cock before meeting and I know a lot of the other female forum posters are the same (I do realise though that forum posters aren't a representative sample of the RHP population).

Instead of telling people to not post cock shots, I think an elegant solution would be to give people the ability to toggle their visibility. That way those who want 'em got 'em, and those that don't, don't. No more need to complain (although if people ask "what do you think of cock shots" as they do every 1.4 weeks then they're probably not going to get the response they'd like!) And for what it's worth, putting them in a PG is also a happy solution, but it's not always well subscribed to. Mr Tryst

    @ Luck dragon I mostly see couples and there is usually a cock shot in the pg somewhere. Which is not something I think twice about. Also do you find it Interesting, or hard to believe? I never got to the part which was interesting ;). It is true for the 99% of people whom I have talked to with intent. @ Mr.T is it the presentation that turns you off, or the subject matter? I am guessing it is the presentation - but shouldn't that apply to everything? A cock can only be presented in a number of ways, and if you are going to get down and dirty with said person - then why the issue of seeing what you will see upon meeting anyway.     To put it clear, I am personally not a fan of the cock shot. It is not very classy is it? But none the less I feel it shouldn't be struck down or given any form of attention on a sex website such as RHP. Especially singled out.It only becomes an issue for me when it is portrayed as all that is needed by said cock shot photographer. Take a look at tumblr, there is a huge movement going on ATM where people are getting into photography in an amateur sexual context. Couples and singles taking great, artistic and sexual photographs. And yes, cock shots are included.

    We agree with your observational point of view about the choked chicken and the rancid mexican walking fish (aka:CockShot). Indeed the veiny bratwurst may indicate the face of the owner and the background of dirty washing and toilet (seat-up) will reflect the tidy lifestyle as well.
