Passion-pop

March 08 2014

There is a topic for all things sex, there's anything and everything, how about a topic where you can put whatever you are passionate for? Pop up the soap box and let us know what gets you going/touches you deeply. This can be anything from a cause, ideal, charity, activity, heck - even your hobby, etc. Why this, how did you get started and how does this affect your life?

I'm passionate about men... their hard bodies... strong shoulders and arms to hang on to and wrap around you... strong, calloused hands to run over your body... the stubble that scratches your skin but feels so good to run your hands over... and how the right one can leave me in a quivering mess and completely satisfied but begging for more... Being the reason I spend hours on here when I should be asleep so I can get up at 4 am for work!!... Oh you said other stuff not sex?? Sorry 😳😋

I take a deep interest in social reform. I came across this group while browsing for info on marketing on YouTube one day and after watching some of their videos found their presentations on various social/technology/economic topics to be highly intelligent and leaving the viewer with a lot of questions especially about morality and ethics. As we progress further toward a digital society when do people stop being real? - Posted from rhpmobile

When I was 17 my 3 year old brother drowned in a family friend's unfenced pool. At the time my parents and were inside and didn't see. Please put aside your judgements on them - it's irrelevant to my cause. Every year kids drown in unfenced pools. Kids are so quick! They need to be watched all the time. We live in a country that is surrounded by water. It's such an important issue and everybody ignores it. My aim is to raise awareness and try to make swimming lessons free for all kids. - Posted from rhpmobile

I'm passionate about a lot of things. Pursuing and maintaining happiness is one, travel, my job/role, family and getting to know the inner REAL me. After my marriage separation I wanted to find the real me, find who I was, get to know the inner me. I had lost myself somewhere along the line. Anything that is in my inner close circle or maintained in my heart, I'm passionate about. Passion Pop is not on my agenda nor do I want to POP the passion there! LOL Foxy

I am passionate about passionate people.....people with great enthusiasm for life, love, and the whole damn thing. At the moment a guiding passion of mine is teens with learning disabilities, low self esteem, lack of confidence.....my daughter has been a revelation to me,she had remedial help all through primary school and w.hen we lived in America I was told that she had an intellectual disability. She's has just completed her Masters in Education and has been a teacher for eight years....all children need good role models, love, support and encouragement to be able to learn and grow....great topic Dewata, but tell us what some of your passions are?:-) :-) :-) xx Q

Great replies! I should have put what my passions are - Doh! One of the things that I am passionate about is research on pre-term babies. My youngest was born pre-term at 24 week. We get a few requests to study my daughter and if the study doesn't involve much needles (she has had more than a few already!) then we go and be part of it. I will be forever grateful to those who have come before us who have gone through the harrowing times that we did and to the doctors who have made it their life mission to make it possible for pre-term babies to survive and live a healthy normal life, if not for them I would not have my beautiful daughter now. If I win lotto today, most of the money would definitely go to further research on premies.

Quoting 'Qefenta2' I am passionate about passionate people.....people with great enthusiasm for life, love, and the whole damn thing. I have a passion for finding out what makes passionate people tick. It makes one feel encouraged and motivated to do all the great things that they do! Sometimes secretly jealous but happy that they have found the reason for their being.

..in all different types and purposes. Horses for courses! : )One can't have too many bikes, and they all receive equal loveand attention. But underlying the passion for 2 wheels..and especially since i moved to WA 5 years ago..is the desire to see more, feel more, experience more..the desire to explore! The previous 8 years i lived on the Gold Coast felt quite sterile bycomparison. Every aspect of my life has been amplified since imoved here..including the occassional pain, danger and heartbreak. But it was worth it

But I'm passionate about people who offend, more specifically young people who offend. Mandatory sentencing and the impact of this on young people's lives. Which isn't to say I don't have empathy and understanding for victims, but I strongly believe that young people and how we treat them is a reflection of our society....and I think we are failing them. I'm also extremely passionate about animal cruelty and our tendency to treat animals as a commodity. I could go on lol, but I should stay off my soap box - Posted from rhpmobile
