  January is the rainy season up in QLD and so Port Douglas is perhaps not the best option. You mentioned a “play holiday” ? What are your expectations ? To meet up and play with many swingers? You best bet might be Melbourne as there are several swingers clubs here. Check the events section of RHP

  Melbourne is the place to be in.Lots of parties going on during this time of year.You should put your name in the travel section when you decide on your destination happy holidays guys and if you are in Melbourne let us know

  Look at the events page and see if there's anything on there that tickles your fancy. Then base your choice around that. We think they can be fun, you meet lots of people and maybe you'll meet the ones you want to play with.
