Great topic and not easy to answer for me. Material possessions aren't important to me anymore, not at all. I know what i really want, a phonecall from someone who means so much, but i know i won't get that, so nothing would be my answer, nothing else matters, well gift wise i mean. What are you hoping for op? - Posted from rhpmobile

Wouldn't mind returning a gift that was opened long ago and has been giving me and the world grief ever since. If anyone can find Pandora's box, close it and return it it would be nice to have world peace for once :) - Posted from rhpmobile

Would simply love 3 beautiful bald cut men wearing nothing but a red bow each ..... All eager to please !! Reality wise... Would love my family to be altogether and just enjoy the break some yummy food , cold drinks and laughter.... Sadly with everyone scattered this year... It's looking to be more a dream than a reality!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, Healthy and Happy New Year and may you all remain firmly planted on the naughty list!!

I just want NO MORE SMELLIES!!!! Seems to me my family never listen to me when I tell them I am allergic to most things that you put on your skin. Last year I donated all the smellies to the Salvos. I would be quite happy not to do anything this year for christmas. I get so annoyed by people saying Merry Christmas in October. Pusscat xxx

Thought I'd combine this post with your other Christmas thread Freya. It would be lovely on Christmas eve to go to sleep and dream of a full day of Christmas as a child when we visited both sets of Grandparents and got to see all our aunts and uncles and ran free and happy with our cousins (sweet memories). Plus any other kids in their street, as kids were everywhere outside on Christmas day when I was a child. So there's another cool wish, to wake up on Christmas day to hear children yelling and running out in the streets with new bikes, kites and balls and things. Shame it isn't like that anymore, these days all that can now be done via video games .

Yeah i miss that too. We used to make cubbie's in the bush, ironic when i have a different version of 'cubbie's' now lol but they were elaborate establishments, all the rooms separated with tree branches, floor swept, we left a broom there haha cleaner than my house is now, so much fun, we'd also go bike riding through the bush and had our worn tracks, of course always looking for somethings to push the limits like large piles of dirt or deep drains hmm no fancy gifts required, except the bike. Funny story that i'm reminded of in my family quite often, when i was about 5, my parents needed to get me a new pair of bathers but to get to that shop, had to drive past the bike shop, i said 'i don't want any bloody bathers, i want a bike' lol swearing wasn't ever heard coming from the mouths of we children, so at age 5 i was already trouble haha - Posted from rhpmobile

For this Christmas would be having the Healing Angel to come and visit my mother! I would trade in anything for that wish to come true and spare my mum another Christmas! 😢 - Posted from rhpmobile

Receiving absolutely zip! There is nothing I need or want. Nor does my house require another gadget, Knick-knack or ornament that collects dust. Only gift items I give these days (and like to receive) are things that can be enjoyed, leaving no clutter behind. A good bottle of wine, champagne, a good quality chocolate, the wrappers end in the bin, minus the contents. A happy ending for all. Nil items left to clutter my already petite / over furnished house.

And a good time. That's what it's all about. Lots of laughs and showing those we love that they count. A fare amount of silliness and sunshine. Connecting with those who count while we are here. - Posted from rhpmobile

I want two things: Delving, I sincerely hope you get that all clear. I'm sure it would make all our Christmases much brighter to know that a fellow forum poster is in better health. Please keep us updated as I'm sure I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested to know how you're going. Sending love and karma your way. My son and his girlfriend llve a little over 600 klms away so I don't get to see him near as often as I'd like to. We travel to NSW (where he lives) every second year. This year, he can't make it to us so they're both spending a week with us early December (and coming to an ACDC concert with us too). Christmas will come nearly three weeks early for me when I get to give him a great big hug as well as receive one back and have both of my children and their awesome partners all in the same house at the same time. My mum always had a huge smile on her face when my sisters and I and our families would gather at my parent's house. It wasn't until February this year when my son and his girlfriend were visiting and I looked around my kitchen table to see both of my children, with their partners who I totally adore. They were having a chocolate fight with melted chocolate, all of them getting along and laughing hysterically. The penny finally dropped and I thought "Oh.....I get it now". There is no feeling that can top that.

The letter with the final answer from my two brainsurgeons on whether the pea in my head is a birth defect or a brain aneurysm. One means leave alone, the other surgery. Not knowing sucks. I empathise with you, Delvin. Big hug x

My neighbourhood is FULL OF kids SCREAMING, SHOUTING, WHINGING out of control (and without supervision) every weekend - at Xmas it is elevated to heights no human being has experienced before ..if that is the morning wake up call you wish for then consider it done - house swap :)

I'm not looking to be a hero out of this. That was suggested by someone who is a 'friend' on FB after I was sharing my story so far. I just want to get better so I can get on with my plans for my new life. Which of course include broadening my experiences. Mea, that would be scary really. I hope that they can give you at least some direction soon. Did I mention I like sex? Sex would be great for Xmas. I wonder if I can somehow figure a way................truth is probably not. Not worth the risk of getting sick.

I'd like a new job, just like my old job, surrounded by excellent people who value each other. Selfish, I know. I could ask for world peace. But any world peace is usually disrupted by people who want better peace. I also want everyone I know to find contentment. Happiness is too much to ask for, and never lasts. And one persons happiness frequently robs another of theirs. So contentment might just be best for everybody.

The best present of all is to be with family and friends not just on Christmas day but the whole festive season. The ones you love the ones you like and maybe even a few people you don't even know you like yet, Lol.That is better than just being alone at this time. So i would like to unwrap friendship and laughter. If only we could all do that would it make the world a better place. Lets all give it a good try. All the very best to you all and a Happy New Year.
