If your photo is not alluring, your profile may go unseen. I'd like to think that my picture draws people in, but that it is my profile that convinces men and couples to contact me. However, the number of messages from members who have obviously not read my profile proves me wrong. I have a fair few photos, most of them taken in the eight months since I joined. I like to take new ones and change rotate them regularly, though that's mainly for my own entertainment. And welcome!

put up new ones, every six months sure keep some that may be 12 months but no older than that or its a false image you are selling last years car is Not a new car...dont advertise goodies you no longer have we all put on weight or loose it or get a bit more saggy ( that is if you stay on this thing for years) so be honest, unless of course you have no intention of meeting anyone then you can bullshit as much as you like about your image. as that way you can go fishing to feed your ego. with the attention you may get some make a sport of it on here the profiles of the delusional

I am in serious need of some new pics. I am pretty bad at taking selfies and generally not a fan of having my pic taken but as has been pointed out best to have up to date/recent pics, so might have to find someone to take some of me soon. Ladies I do love your range of pics and anybodyjustnow I would happily take some pics for you.

But I have some in my PG and happy to give access to genuine people :-) My pics in the PG are my most current photos and were taken within the last 3-6 months. Men whom I met in the recent months have said that I actually look better in real life. So, I guess I don't change much or at all lol In answering to your questions, everyone looks for different things when it comes to finding interest in a profile. I personally look for both, but at the very least, a profile must have 1 or 2 clear shot face pics in their PG ready for viewing. I really don't like nasty surprise, hence no photo at all = no interest and walk away!

...then spend about two hours laughing or being horrified at the results. Eventually you'll come up with something you can put here.My profile pic is a piss take on my user name.. Something that said a little about me but allowed some anonymity. Although lately I'm less fussy about the anonymity thing.

I have had some confusion with this. I live in a relatively small community so I don't really want a face pic and I hate the guys that have cocks plastered all over their profiles. Any suggestions as to what a guy should use as a profile pic? Sorry to if this isn't the best thread but I don't use this site really often so I'm not sure where else to go.- Posted from rhpmobile

I think the profile pic is definitely the first component of catching people's attention. I know I will be much more likely to look at someone's profile if they have a profile picture that I find particularly sexy or interesting. And when it comes to guys, well I definitely notice the difference in the number and types of contacts I get when I have my 'arse' picture up as opposed to a more demure one . The actual profile is important as well though, or at least it should be (some guys obviously don't get that far). And like a lot of the other ladies I rotate my pics just to mix things up a bit. I should take some new ones but that will have to wait...*sigh* would be much easier if I had someone to take pics for me

I love taking pictures for different occasations and have done Christmas, New Years Eve, Australia Day, Anzac Day and my birthday. I should have taken one for Nurses Day today.

... for a number of reasons, mostly because women in general just have better bits for being photographed - their curves just look nicer - well, in my opinion, that is.I desperately need to renovate my pictures. While the ones I have are all current enough, they're just crap!

I tend to differ here i am usually the grey guy ,but now and then put a picture up.If people only take you for your looks you are just attracting people who are shallow.Jump in the deep end ,and contact/meet people who have essence as a person.But i do like to change my name .....poor Twiggy Sticks you will be missed

I think as long as profile pics are honest then they do the job. Pics are good but I tend to read the profile and decide if I want to contact.

rotate my pics and take new ones whenever I get bored, so quite often.We are visual creatures, so I'm sure it's the photos that draw people in and I always hope people then read the content before sending me a message, however this seems to be rare.Occasionally I am surprised when I open a message from someone who has read my profile, and sometimes they are rewarded favourably
