So, I think that everyone would agree that women and their bodies are amazing and beautiful. They are smooth, soft, curvy, just very pleasing to look at. Even women love looking at womans bodies, they are very much the highlight of the profile when my partner and I search for company. Which brings me to the question - Why do guys put themselves as their profile pic for a couple? Do they think that they are the 'better looking' one? and that they think they will bring in the attention? Is it an ego thing? I have no issues with self confidence, but I would never, not put my woman as our profile pic, because she's a gorgeous woman. We just find that a tasteful sexy picture of a woman or couple will get a click from us, and a pale, hairy man posing just gets overlooked. Is it just us that feels this way? - Posted from rhpmobile

We have the same thoughts too! Maybe the guy is the one that is keen on the relationship to look for others perhaps?

You are a couple, so advertise as a "couple", not individuals. As a guy using his wife as a profile pic to attract suitors, is kinda creepy in my eyes and turns me off. Sorry dude but she is not a commodity nor should she be used like that (no matter how beautiful she is). How do we know she is included or gives her permission? We don't. Ms Foxy

We prefer couple pictures and have tried pictures of both of us. You get more women and couples checking out a male picture than single men. A picture of both of us or just Xanthea gets loads of single men looking. If you are not looking for that, it gets frustrating.

But to put down couples who choose to put up the male as the main pic is a little bit fucked up. I understand if you aren't really worth looking at but there are plenty of male half that are confident and sexy enough to pull it off. As Foxxy says, a pic of the both of you up front is the go. And you shouldn't presume that everyone prefers looking at the female. There are plenty of straight women and pretend bi women that prefer the male form

Ummmm no I do not prefer looking at a womans body if I am looking for a couple. I want to see the guy as i am not interested in women. I would want to share a guy with another woman. As for a couples profile with male pics it will be just a single guy wanting to better his chances with getting a meet. A couples profile should have pics of both male and female and both as a main pic. I get sick of asking couples where are the male pics, we are not all bi ladies .

I don't prefer looking at the female of the couple so I'm always happy to see pics of the male front and center. I disagree that the female is the centrepiece, but that's just my opinion. And at least there couples ARE putting pics of both parties in the public albums.... most just use the female as clickbait.

Righto, We were trying to start an honest discussion, since we never get involved in these forums. Being called creepy or implying that pictures have been used without permission is a little rough. Cheers for your non-constructive negative feedback.

Another reason I have seen is that the man is often commenting on Forums and didn't want people assuming falsely. He now has a picture of his wife as the main pic but mostly because he loves the photo. We have met them in person at parties and know without doubt they are BOTH real. He may out himself if he wishes and some may even guess correctly.

100%agree with you, however when it is a couple you a looking for and all they have pics of is the woman isnt helpful either. There needs to be a solid balance. Too many times we have thought, "she is smoking hot!" Knowing nothing of the guy. Then finding ourselves backing out as when we see his pics after investing time in msging, we are backing out awkwardly as he isnt ringing any bells.

Just as well I read this!! All this time I have put my husband front and centre to be objectified and visually appreciated ... and attract other wives and couples. Now I realise it had made people think we are a devious single guy hiding behind a couples profile. Sad 😟. Our next couple goal may have to be a couple photo shoot. Mrs Totally nor.

Haha, it was just the original 2 comments that annoyed me. We have pics of us both in our profile, but just prefer her pic to catch the eye as it's sexy and we don't show faces until later, so a blurry face couple pic isn't really eye catching. It's funny to see the difference of opinion between people.

Option 1....put the guy as the profile picture and have people think it’s just a single guy getting his creep on... Option 2....put the woman as the main pic and have people think he’s butt ugly as fuck and is just using his missus to get laid.... Or... Option 3....don’t sweat the small stuff like how other people choose to represent themselves.... I know which one I would choose to be the biggest source of happiness...
