Split up with the ex a few weeks short of turning 50. Thought my mojo had been laid to rest. Then a friend recommended this site and Ive had a great time since. Im a bit quueter now but for the first couple of years my Mojo went through the roof.

I've been quiet on the sex front but that's because I've other things to stimulate the mind and body. It's really not about a sex drive but stimulation of the big organ. Sex is sex, overrated a lot of the time.....,,, Perhaps the focus of many because they have fuck all else going on Did l just say that?

After a recent holiday overseas where I discovered that the last bastion of hooking up, a certain well-known Other Site Dedicated To Sex Except People Claim It's Not, had been hijacked (and yes, I'll use the term) by yoga-posing, prayer flag waving, zen quoting serious romantics, not one of them into anything but someone to ''share their journey'' with, I must admit I just kind of went ''oh well, that's that then''. That was like the last of it to me, a place where people could go if they just wanted something light and easy. I had been successful on previous trips away with said same app, had some lovely times with women just like me - on holiday, keen for a bit of company to add to their memories of the trip, not a string attached to the whole thing - and it seems to have just gone. Previous holiday I had noticed worrying signs of the fort being overrun, but holiday just gone? It has become OK Cupid (or whatever other ''serious'' dating app/website is the go out there). I have found since that I have become simply disinterested in anything other than Mrs Palmer and her five lovely daughters (and even then only about once a week) - just too complicated, way too much effort for way too little (read nil) interest. Oddly though, I have found this quite liberating - I seem to have way more time on my hands and it is quite incredible how much you realize that thinking about sex taxes your brain. So on the one hand, yep - lost my mojo for sure. But I am getting back to a passion I have neglected for way too long now - I am reading a hell of a lot more.

Don’t think There’s any point trying to force it back. The more you worry about it the more elusive it is. After a bad experience last year mine went to the point I didnt really bother anymore. Haven’t had sex since March. It’s actually pretty liberating. It pops it’s head up at inopportune times. I know it’s still there but I’ll use it a bit more wisely and only when I’m really in the zone. Had a nice experience last week on holidays that made me realise it’s still waiting in the wings 😛I’ll just go with the flow and see where it takes me. As far as seasonal I’m definitely more of a warm weather person.

Recently I had an off then on again affair. She kicked me to the kerb twice before I called it off. Blow me down if I don't get a text today, obviously fishing through her history for my number. How many times do you go back to flog a dead horse?

Ended up with a dent in my head from banging against that brick wall.

I think it was more than your Mojo that you lost, just to keep on topic.Must have been your marbles. I'm a believer of the 3 strikes method of counting as that establishes a pattern in my view.

How much of it has to do with confidence / well being? It's too easy to add etceteras to that... Mojo is something mentioned on RHP fairly often over the years and I have pondered it often. Some might say I overthink but I like to think I seek to understand? I'd suppose it's something I wouldn't want to concentrate too much on to not make a mountain out of a molehill. It's too easy to do that, let's face it. Not always an easy thing to do though! Happy to say that with a sincere lack of attention and some peace and quiet, things have never been better after a few years of challenges that were disturbing to the peace! Peachy, feeling more at peace
