I live in this country because of freedom of speech. Why have rules about that?? Basically anything should go, end of subject. Did I say I lived in Oz for the freedom of speech?? Damn, wrong country

We think people should be bumped from the chat room after 2 or 3 hours, ESPECIALLY the ones that leave their computer on all day and sit in the room idle. Really, like you've been there for 6 hours. Honestly, in our opinion, the chat room isn't (usually) what it used to be.. Too many people in the Adult chat room not interested in any sort of adult chat... Use the social room!

Just respect is the main key to fun chat, a lot of us ladies don't like to be told to " get your tits out", " put your finger in your arse", " show me your arse, i wanna stick my dick in it",and vulgar whispers... i know i leave the room if that happens and so do a lot of other ladies, even if i am in the middle of having some fun. Respect is the only rule i can possibly imagine that should be adhered to in chat rooms. One other thing, the main adult room is not all about sex, we can chat as well, we don't have to be playing all the time. So saying if we wanna chat we should go to the social room, is really quiet an insult to our intelligence, we can talk and masturbate at the same time..lol I have met many wonderful people in chat and it is not all about sticking my hand down my pants ...it is about communication and respect, just like in the real world. The chatrooms are whatever u want them to be... by saying there's not enough "adult" stuff happening in the adult room.. well, what are ya gonna do?? Ya can't force people to do and talk about things they don't wanna talk about. How boring the room would become if everyone was naked on cam and talking about nothing but how hard/wet they are. I actually like the people I play with to have the ability to carry a "normal" conversation. How about a rule that states we are not obligated to do anything we don't want to do. Or how bout one for the wanna be Steven Spielbergs in the rooms?

I learnt early in the piece as a chat room virgin, not to ask too many questions and if so make them broad questions. Some of the regulars pulled me into line but i was forgiven being a newbie. I think couplesint sums it up well by saying RESPECT is the main rule. Is that too broad?

I tend to agree that there is not enough 'adult' chat going on in the Hot Chat room. I've been going in there almost every day for three years, and have seen it change quite alot over the years from a really horny room to conversations that seem mainly about what we are having for dinner, what happened at work today and how the kids are. Frankly, I don't want to know you are having roast chook for dinner or what your kids' names are. To me, this sort of conversation is NOT for the Hot Chat room, but for the Social rooms. Having said that, I'm not saying there shouldn't be ANY social chat in Hot Chat, just less mundane stuff and more horn. It's a hard one (lol) to define because everyone's idea of how much social chat is too much and vice versa is so subjective.

Here here capital, I used to think that one day i would block everyone that didn't have cam on while i played. Just for the time i was playing and then unblock when i finished. The thought when i said it didnt go down well ..lol But sometimes it makes you feel like doing it. Especially when those directing commands dont have cam on or photos up...grrrr

ahh...where to start. As Leesa said...RESPECT! Some have none whatsoever. Give compliments, NOT directions...unless of course someone asks you to! And take no for an answer. I agree with HotOzCouple....chatters should be booted if they haven't typed for a period of time. Some are in there almost every day yet have never chatted...they just take up space! As for Rule 9...I happen to like it! Its not a "RULE" per se...but it is fun when a man is in his office....and wants to be convinced to show some sneaky nipple!! It's all just a bit of fun...coz there's nothing quite as boring as watching someone talk on the phone on cam....lol! And as an aside....I like to tell stories in chat...erotic ones....usually to a particular person....telling them what im gonna do to them....definitely "adult chat"...yet have been told off for it???????. I think some peeps need to chill out a bit. If ya dont like it...dont go in.

Another one i have noticed is people who sit watching someone's cam and dont have the courtesy to even say hello to them. No-one likes that particularly the girls. Rude whispers certainly piss people off. Again that comes back to respect

I don't go into the chat room as much these days because it gets a bit boring saying something and being ignored by 99 other people, then saying something to particular people and being ignored by them. So often when I go in now I just look at what is being said, who is there and see if someone sparks my interest. But it seems to be the same people all the time and since they have already shown no interest I will sometimes stay logged in so I stay in that chat room and check it later. So that's why I no longer cam or talk much in there. Does that mean I shouldn't go in there? I like the idea of a cam only room. and if people are not active for a couple of hours then something that knocks them down to the bottom chatroom sounds fine. Have to have it that way only if they don't have a cam on though.

Honestly, if you just talk about crappy or boring subjects no one is going to answer you. Leave it as is. It makes it easier for the girls to sort out the real men from the pretenders and for blokes to spot the for real girls from the fakes.

Lol, for those who aren't in the know, Rule 9 was jokingly created in the WA social chat room. The rule being that if a woman was caught on cam talking on the phone, she would have to flash her boobs... This rule was done away with as the girls thought it rather unfair that they had to flash, but the boys got away with nothing....

TO answer to your comment...yes, there are people there which are freinds outside of RHP...we became all freinds chatting in the wa social room. I know it is hard for a newbie to come in and try and chat..but if you say " hello room" and be nice and courtious and be yourself, you will find people answering your hello... ps...we are a nice bunch.. ok..so a few idiots strays stroll in ..lolol so come in and sit back and enjoy some chatting xxxx

Whether you like it or not there are rules in the WA chat room, albiet casual funny ones. 1. Dont use the L word - Love. lust, lesbian, labia are acceptable 2. If your still a newbie, you have got to change the colour of your text so it does not clash with one of the regulars. 3. Always greet everyone that comes into the room with hugs and kisses xoxoxo 4. Always say goodbye to someone leaving the room with kisses. 5. If you want really hot adult chat go into the Adult room 6. Dont use the word "fuck" it is ferkin, fark, fuk, friggin... 7. Dont discuss other peoples affairs in the chat room, ie gossip 8. Guys dont be pricks. 9. No longer applicable These are not my list of rules, just my observations of being in the room often over three months and they are only tongue in cheek.

I figured girls showed boobs, guys showed cock? But yeah, the hot chat is never hot chat in the public screen. Might some stuff happens in private messages... but fuck, it's so damn annoying to do. I just come in and talk random shit. People seem to laugh and respond to me, and I get people say hi to me when I enter, so I must be doing something right. I was surprised Leesa said she'd thought of blocking any people that were watching her cam that didn't have their cam up. I'd happily put my cam up, but when people flick on and off it within seconds it's kinda wasted bandwidth, so I just leave it off. Easy rule for LIFE is 'Just have fun and harm no one.' That's what I live by.
