Wouldn't know. I've got better things to do than listen to other people's stories about my life. On occasion I've stopped someone who's trying to tell me what "others" are saying with, "please, I'm really not interested. As I have no opportunity for recourse I'd really rather you not repeat this stuff to me" fixed the problem immediately, she's never tried again. - Posted from rhpmobile

I don't think it's a weird topic at all, since rumours are rampant here..But Jay, I'd like to know what prompted this thread. Any specific rumour that grabbed you?.(p.s. newbies, when I first joined the rumour was that I was a fake profile made by Mischeviouslad, to agree with his posts. Go figure.)

by such perfect people, not one person above me has ever listened to or retold a rumour, makes me feel so different lol. I know I listen to and share gossip, also know I am topic of gossip and love hearing that when it gets back to me lol. I hear a rumour that lots of forum contributors cept Venus never listens to or spreads rumours, and all the men have the ability to make a woman squirt" lol. Now Im heading back out to reality lol

What ? I can't believe that some here feel there must be something sinister that motivated me to post this. ? For what it's worth and to put you few out of your misery, a Fijian friend who regularly posts similar quotes in verse on Facebook sent this to me. In turn I posted it word for word and so posed the question. Full Stop ? As for the usual distractors, your'e coming across as you need to find a excuse to turn the topic on its ear... If you care to read what Jason Leslie and Wingman had to say , they got the gist of the question and responded accordingly.. I'm ignoring the usual drivel , that's all it deserves..

Rumours cost me very tight friendships of all kinds and f****ed me over for many years. I had an argument with one person and the next day like fire they spread rumours to every friend of mine from their HS. But as someone said...believed by idiots. It showed me to appreciate who your true friends are and probably saved me from those others. Life is so much better now when the respect and understanding is mutual and you truly know each other. - Posted from rhpmobile

Rumour : 1) information , often a mixture of truth and untruth , passed around verbally . 2) gossip or hearsay . Like sand through the hourglass , so are the days of our lives ...! if you don't put in any explanation about where you're coming from, people are going to make their own conclusions. That you haven't, and you have replied in the way you have seems like a test to me, a set up even. Do you realise that any of the stuff you post in the forums about oh, me for example, is rumour/gossip in itself? Because, speaking for myself, yes it's your loose opinion, but IMO, it's wrong.

Peachy , your'e searching for something that doesn't exist. You only just put Venus straight on the meaning of the post, so I would think you already know.? I already pointed out in a early post, no tests, no underlying motives, no trick question, no catches, just a straight forward post received from a friend which I passed on. ? Ms D.. Is that they redefine relationships in the aftermath of destruction ... true friends know a rumour isn't true, whereas enemies revel in the deceit and you find out pretty quickly who is who. I see them as being more of a projection of both the individual that starts them and those that feed off them.

I have lived in the city and country town no different just small towns are more concentrated. My motto if they talk about me I say tell me more, while to talk about me they are leaving some else alone who couldn't take it :-) If you hear anything let me know lol
