"Stop!" is not so good when you are in the car... "No!" is one that works, well for most. You would be surprised how many people do not understand that word so the more forceful phrase "Don't Fucken touch me!" should get the message across. OP,Safe words are really only used when part of the role play will include behaviorist that normally would mean No! or Stop! For example if one partner is paying the sub, they may plead "Please stop!" normally all would come to an end if you hear that. But if the role requires it then was it a request or the game? in such a case you need a control word. Something like "Honorificabilitudinitatibus" is good as it usually makes for a longer sessions... ;) For most situations the tone of the voice is enough to let you know what to do. If you know your partner very well then there is no need for a safe word, just a look can say stop. Generally safe words are for sex workers that do BDSM and some how moved into the bed room. Disclaimer. Don't use "Honorificabilitudinitatibus." and don't have sex while driving.

Seriously though, a safe word should be something that is unconnected to the activity at... ahem, hand.I honestly haven't been in a sexual situation (yet) where I've considered the need for a safe word.In terms of a relationship, I was in a situation where counselling was required and due to the inability of being able to have discussions of sensitive natures, a safe word was required for when either of us felt a discussion was rapidly deteriorating... Yelling out, "Monkey shit" in the midst of an argument certainly did stop a person mid tirade fairly well. Often only for them to then abuse you for stopping them mid abuse. So anyways, something totally unconnected, not regularly used in your vocabulary, completely out of the ordinary. A word or phrase that makes your partner stop and go, "WTF??!!!" before they even realise that it's the safe word. Really, anything that makes them stop automatically. CheersRusty

I would hope that my choice in playmates was good enough not to have to use a safe word. I would also hope that my playmates would realise when enough was enough, I guess that's why I choose them carefully.... But yes mine is RED too......💋

but I can't remember and I can't imagine having to use as he seems to read me quite well. I hahve with everyone else though it needs to be a word that is not used in your usual vocabulary. One that equates to stop immediately and one that equates to slow down give me a minute, is my understanding.

Always work 😁 But seriously safe words are usually used when you want to push each other's boundaries and see just how far you will go in unfamiliar territory. We both quite often use safe words when playing. It works both ways even something to say I'm ok while someone else is banging the shit out of you (pun intended). Something you both will remember in the throes of things and nothing too long or too hard to say. Sometimes hand gestures are good for instance if you have a ball gag on us can't say much and let's face it a moan can mean so many things. If you know your partner really well you shouldn't need safe words just the look on their face should tell you if they don't want to keep going Or a swift kick to the ball sack area usually makes things stop quite quickly. - Posted from rhpmobile
