Seasons....

June 06 2013

Well for me it is hibernation time.... I am not a winter fan at all. The only real thing I like about winter is the smell of a wood fire, delicious soups and snuggles in bed.I love the end of Spring when the flowers have bloomed and the heat is beginning.I love Summer - and I love the colours of Autumn.Whats your favourite season?

autumn is my favourite, long sunny days when the bite has gone out of the sun so I can spend more than half an hour at Swanbourne without being turned to crackling !But winter has it's pluses, Guinness, Osso Bucco, Carbonade Flamande, Moussaka, rosemary Lamb shanks in the pressure cooker. Yum !

I like winter, probably because winter up here isn't actually very cold and the days are gorgeous. And you can move without dripping sweat everywhere (summers here are a bitch and drain the life out of you). So I actually feel more energetic in winter.Favourite season is autumn, even though we don't get the gorgeous autumn foliage colours up here.

Living in Qld I am a big fan of the cooler months of Autumn and Winter.... The sunny yet not too hot days and the cooler nights (perfect for curling up with a hot body). And those cooler seasons mean I get to wear my boots more often, yay!! However I don't mind early spring either, again with the sunny but not too hot days to get out and enjoy.

I like spring best because I can stop complaining about the cold mornings and nights and then I don't have to listen to the stock-standard 'but you're English, you should be used to it' from our friends here and "that's not cold, it's colder than that here and its summer' from our English friends back home.Plus, it's the perfect sex time...not too hot, or too cold....just perfect.

Is my most favourite season because I am a boots lover, boots over skinny jeans, boots over tights and dresses, ankle boots under corporate working pants, you name it I love it 😋 plus I only need to take 2 showers a day instead of multiples in winter lol I dont know what else I can do to stop being sticky hot and sweating in summer apart from taking multiple showers. But in winter, I can wear as many layers of clothes to keep out of the coldness.- Posted from rhpmobile

I love the heat ( but I'm not a big fan of working in it ). Love sleeping naked & getting sweaty ;) Love the Beach . Love Daylight Savings , giving me all that extra daytime after work . Love the lighter , healthier food I eat . Cocktails in a pool. People wear more revealing clothing ;) Big Celebrations in Summer , including my Birthday . I live for Summer ! Winters fun for snuggling up and keeping warm . I love the spring rains, unlike most i love being out and about in the rain Summer for the sweating and the feeling of jumping into the surf or pool and the lush greens and autum for colours.

That Brisbane has ten months of "Darwin" dry season... And two months of fucking ball shattering cold !!! I struggle big time at this time of year, but like luckdragon23, I know what it's like to have sweat dripping off you, because you're standing and thinking :) Hp xo

Is the summer. Getting out of a cool shower and sweating from the effort of toweling down. Better than shivering to death down here.
