Seeking advice: How to organise messages

We don’t have a system. Our inbox is messy and full of people and we can’t keep track. We’d like to use folders to manage our messages and sort everyone into categories so it’s easier to keep track. However, we have no idea what categories or where to start. We have a folder for couples we are talking to. New couples get moved there once we chat back and forward for a while. But that isn’t helping either. Cos all the couples are lumped into one folder and that has turned into a mess too. We’d like to have our inbox for messages from new people and then move them to the folder they belong to when we’ve talked to them. How do you organise your messages? Any advice or guidance will be deeply appreciated. Thanks ☺️

I do an inbox cull every week. Have been for years. Any chats I deem as "not going anywhere" I just delete them.

I have a system of inboxes to make life easier. I have ones for general chat, prospects, would meet again and a few others. I find it easier to mange the messages. I also set my inbox to unread so that I make sure i dont miss any

I've never used the folder function. I also never delete messages because I like to go back and reread history of messages. If im chatting to someone I'm appealed too and want to met, I just add as a favourite. They go to the top of my inbox list. Ms Foxy
