To me, Sassy = feisty, cheeky, confidently sexualSexy = visually and/or intellectually appealing on a sexual level ..... and interestingly we humans apply this to objects such as cars, boats, 'things' too.... most likely in reference to female sexual benchmarks. (IE, a car has sexy lines and curves)DG

Sometimes I have no idea! After speaking to a few people described to me as "sassy" I was beginning to think it meant rude lol. I prefer DG's definitions!

One time a regular customer gave me a very funny look at work after I had done/said something....I said "I have sass. That's why the people come in."And he replied, "Oh! Is that what you call it? Not being rude?""I'm not rude, I'm sassy ;)"

No, they're not. You're online. Why don't you just use an online dictionary next time you're not sure? Hmm? Hmm!

You're 100% correct. Can be used as sexy or rude depending on the situation at the time.

I googled the definition lol. Funny for me considering I was called sassy not so long ago and I didn't at all get the impression it was in any way meant to be a compliment but I am more taken by the idea of the word having a playful edge myself. And yes, an edge of sexiness but sexy and sassy don't, to me, mean the same thing. Peachy
