It’s soft and downy, like some kind of mythical fleece. If you’re letting hair upset you, you aren’t ready for the butt. This isn’t a throwaway act, this is a lifestyle.     Great to hear a woman state the case for body hair. While I don't mind a shaved/ hairless pussy for a bit of variety, I am a fan of body hair on women. I actually love pubes, ( you a can shampoo and condition them to make them nice and fluffy if you want) because they are great to play with and snuffle around in, they can enhance the whole oral experience in my opinion. I even quite enjoy under arm hair as well.

    That men and women started shaving as a norm... Very recent indeed. With my generation and for thousands of years hair was never been questioned. In fact hair was viewed as very sexy indeed: an animal and dark gateway leading to a magical and mysterious domain.

    Though I think it's great the author of this piece likes herself and makes no excuses for what her butt looks like is great, telling someone there "not ready" if they don't like hair down there is taking it too far.     This is great, its written well, puts forward a good argument and its funny. What's not to enjoy in the reading. And I love that you're talking about one of the elephants in the room. Why should we be made to feel ashamed of hanging on to what nature has given us? Why should we be told we are "unclean" because we don't shave or wax. Go hairy. . . . go wild.

    Quoting 'ralf74' and how very true. I do think however guys keep themselves more tidy than they used to also. Its only recently that men have been doing much shaving elsewhere but the face. Chest and back waxes were reserved for professional bodybuilders who had a pressing need to be shiny and smooth for judges, and would do their legs too. Some serious cycling enthusiasts have been doing their legs for a while too, because ingrown hairs are an annoyance. As a result I'm very accepting of hair on women. Especially since i tend only to find out about the hair once i've reached that comfort point with someone. Sure i love a bit of bald, but hey if she couldn't be bothered shaving yesterday and today a little stubble isn't going to bother me. I will admit I'm not a fan of a very hairy bush, but a trimmed one is fine. So long as if i try to kiss the pubis mons there is some skin to skin contact and my lips aren't completely blocked by carpet its all good. As to ass licking I've never done it (not against it, just haven't done it) but again hair isn't going to bother me much.

    Neither of us are afraid of hair! The only time we groom is for when we play with others because that seems to be the norm. Besides that our home sex life is very active and hair could never stop us! :D

    I'm with Keepitsimple72. Rimming isn't my thing. I like the girl-power vibe though. The presence or absence of hair on a woman's arse wouldn't factor into my decision. The war on body hair can go too far for both genders, in my opinion, and any woman who feels positive about her own and refuses to remove it has my congratulations. That said, someone who wants to remove it is also cool in my books. Ditto someone who has a preference and isn't into the hairy hole. It's all good, I'm just not into what happens when people feel like they're yucky cos they have hair, like someone who usually removes it but hasn't had a chance before an encounter and feels bad about themselves. Can someone even shave their own arse? Given what frequently happens when I take a razor to my face, there's no chance in hell I'm trying. Definitely not with the same razor.

    The musical was referring to head hair because at the time too much on the head was considered radical. Pubic and butt hair was 'usual' and butts were called bottoms, and, rimming probably wasn't very fashionable either. 😳
