  My take is it really depends on the man and how they get into your brain for this type of thing. Some men have a way of making you want to go along for the ride. It won't be for everyone and you might be met with revulsion by some. But you never know when you might meet that one person that opens up a new world for you. Thats the fun. For me it's then situational. I'm not kinky with everyone, but have met a couple of men that have opened those doors for me. As long as its done with mutual consent and respect its fine for me. Others may see it as degrading and abusive though, so maybe tread carefully. For myself, I've never considered Fetlife as I don't really have strong preferences with kinks or fetishes.   Is definitely a very serious subject. And needs a bit more attention, jokes are nice and they always have a place in life. Definitely no need to be at the point of putting the other sex donw.
