I love posting song lyrics. Sometimes snippets and sometimes the whole thing. As Elton John sang, "If someone else is suffering enough to write it down, When every single word makes sense, Then it's easier to have those songs around."     I love music and how it can reflect all of your different moods and the different times of your life. When I first heard Massive Attack's Dissolved Girl the lyrics really resonated with me, in terms of some previous darker times in my life.     I have loved the Ten Tenors' Sundance since I first heard it, and when my grand daughter died, aged 2 days, it seemed to have been written for her, so we played it at her funeral. Even now there is such great sadness attached to it, I still love the words and the voices that sing it so very well. As Molly would say...     I like 'Slip sliding away' but it's no where near being one of my favorites. Still it says something I agree with. Doesn't it seem to you that the closer you get to your goals, the further away they seem, ...and I definitely know how it feels to love someone so much that you feel insignificant.

    I've been out walking...for hours.I've got something on my mind.How did we get here...where are we going? And why is life so hard?     There are a few songs that have an effect on me every time I hear them, some of them to do with what I've been through and others to do with love.These lyrics were sent to me recently by an amazing, gorgeous man that has the seventh sense... it sums up perfectly where I've been and what I'm coming out of...Some people stay far away from the door If there's a chance of it opening up They hear a voice in the hall outside and hope that it just passes by Some people live with the fear of a touch and the anger of having been a fool They will not listen to anyone so nobody tells them a lie I know you're only protecting yourself I know you're thinking of somebody else Someone who hurt you?
