Sophisticated Swingers

Now we could be opening ourselves up to an onslaught of criticism here, but we have to ask the question, are there any sophisticated swingers out there? Don’t get us wrong, we have certainly had some good fun times in the few months since we dipped out toe into the swingers lifestyle, but we have to say that all too often we are disappointed. We have been to two or three great parties, but similarly we have endured some shockers! What we constantly fail to understand is how people lack an utter sense of dress code. To some people it would seem that come in your sexiest, flauntiest clothes means come in the same things you’ve been waring all day. Or in some cases what you’ve been wearing all week! Surely a great part of the fun is looking sexy and alluring, ready to flirt and possibly play? Of course it is all about sex, but aren’t there couples out there who also appreciate a more sophisticated approach? A dinner party maybe, with some sexy games to get the guests in the mood? A private house party where the ladies, and the men for that matter, know how to dress. Have we just not found it yet or is it just not out there?

When we first got into swinging we found that there was a party that suited us, we wanted a fun social night with people that were just like our non swinging friends but if the mood took we could have sex with. We did find one couple putting on parties that were to our likely but then we thought if we can't find what we want why not organize what we want. So we have thrown a few parties and had a ball been able to find the sort of people we want and give the night the feel we were looking for. So if you don't find what you are looking for go out and create it!!! we now live in New Zealand and the first party we went to here was so perfect we can't wait for their next one. Be brave and make your own fun. Sorry if this is all one paragraph always seem to happen when using apple computers

You just haven't found it yet! Stick with it , you'll find them eventually! We went to lotus lounge our one and only time and were shocked to see outcome as you described. What made it worse was there wern't many people there and the ones that did looked liked they'd just unpacked the groceries and had decided to pop into a swingers club for a quickie..Nooooooo thanks!!We like to dress up as well and have since found classy couples that put effort into what becomes a sexy fun night ...whispers..and thanks to our special friends last night!!! xxx

Thanks sexycountrycplIt was more of an observation than a whinge... ...and yes we are already planning our "sophisticated party"The trick will be, of course, getting the right mix. What was your experience in vetting couples?

we used to comment a lot that "sexy, does not need to be tacky", because too often we were disappointed. luckily we have found some friends who share our taste, and have discovered a couple of beautiful lifestyle travel destinations. keep your expectations high, because you will find what you are looking for eventually. good luck.

Now as a bit of a Paaaaaaaarty goer we are astonished at the level of apararel that people turn up in for parties. The very same people talk about never getting any action .....ya say whaaaaaaat ! Noooo way no action sunshine !.It can be ridiculously random what people turn up in and as a consequance we much prefer to go to events that insist on a dress code .......... Like for example fetish wear ........ Navy .......... etc etc ! It leads to less descrepency than sophisticated casual ........... It appear to some a short skirt from Supre and hugg boots are sophisitcated ! AHHHHHHHHHHHH !.Hell fire (ok we may have a little kink ) has been getting tougher on the "No effort - No entry" rule which is great ! We were tre's pleased to see a young bozzo attend the door with his girl all dressed up and he in a pair of black jeans ...... He was told sorry go get a dog collar or a chain or a ............ ticket to another club ! NICE it has showed ........ No when sarah is in her tiny weanie Gstring and lace skirt and nipple tassles ........so is the chick over there ........ nice !. Sophisticated sounds great I always imagine a "eyes wide shut" kind of themed party but can you wear ugg boots with a cape ?.Brae ................

One of the ways we have vetted people was by charging a cover charge, if people have to pay for something that they are more likey to dress up and be on their best behavoiur. We did not pocket that cover charge but gave it to a charity - we also made that clear in the invite, it helped to give the night an air of class and led to a whole punch of fun puns about having a good time, for a good cause. Reading peoples profile as well - we often looked for verifications from people we know or know of, looking at things they had posted in forums. But mostly we talked to them face to face or over the phone. Sorry about this being all one paragrahy it is the computer/website incompatibility

What a great idea sexycountrycpl, raising money for charity from a swingers party. There are so many things which are just so right with idea. Love to see the faces of the moral "do gooders" if they ever knew where the money came from.

I know what you mean Lovefrenzy... we still get people who look like they just got up off the couch, when they meet us for a "quiet drink" ? Sadly some people dress like that all the time, so dont know any better i guess. Dressing up is a great way to look your best and show a different style each time, especially at partys.

Yes AdventureTime, couldn't agree more! We went to what was sold to us as an "up market" couples party at the weekend and it was full of single men, most of whom looked like they had come straight form the pub or a footy match. Of the few couples that did turn up most of us left early.Anyway we can vouch for your parties, as we had a ball. Nice people who make an effort.

Well the interesting thing was for two of the parties we throw the charity did know where the money came from but they did not care. The money we raised paid for school fees for children in East Timor who would otherwise not have been able to go to school. I am sure the charity did not tell the children or their families but oh well.

It has been great to have positive feedback on our observation about a great deal of people not making an effort with their appearance. We have also received numerous private messages agreeing with us. For us we will continue on our crusade to find couples who know what dressing sexy actually means!

Especially the men, they have no idea about how to woo a lady, talk to her online as though she is desperate and generally have no bloody idea at all, and then they blame any and all of the women for being a cock teaser! Well guys if you saw a female walking down the street wearing a worn tee shirt or a crude one for that matter , baggy trackys and dirty sport shoes, no make up and hair looking as though an Afganie refugee did her hair, would it turn you on? course not. When we go out my Darling woman spends a lot of time dressing and putting her makeup on etc. she feels sexier and really turns heads, this makes her feel sexy and spins my wheels that others women and men are checking her out, she is especially alluring when she gets ready for our regular trips into the swinger clubs, sometimes just so damn sexy I remove her clothes and have her then and there before we even leave, also when we get there, if the time is right I have her first at the club as well, gee some men really have no idea at all and some of the lines they lay on her!! they have no idea and think and act like they are Gods gift, especially if they posses larger than average equipt! well let me tell you fellah's she has had some of the BEST SEX with the quiet and unasuming guy sitting by himself in the corner rather than the blow hards. Now me I am not interested in other women or guys for that matter, Am I a cuckold? Isnt this the case everywhere you look, is sexy about wearing thongs and t-shirts, I think not, its about taking some pride in yourself, if you look good you feel good. just go to a shopping centre and look at what people wear, being casual is 1 think but some people are just slobs. as for dressing up when you go out Mrs B alwaychanges out of "home" cloths when she goes out whether it the shops or dinner or a party, you dress for the occassion, and it a turn on to see guys heads turn when she wears something sexy like a low cut top or 5" heels out. I do the same, while I may not be a fashion guru I believe that you should look respectable at all times. I agree with you lovefrenzy why would you want a guy who look like he just came from the footy. love the chartiy idea, what a twist. "dress for success" isnt that a motto we should use, in this lifestyle isnt it about attracting the opposite sex????????

I have to say you gota dress up to go down. When I was a regular at burswood swingers club I almost always wore a suit. Certianly shirt and tie(even when tending bar there). Most people dressed up. the ones that didnt tended to be the young pretty boys(fasion victims) some without dress sense, and a few who were well, off there meds. It only takes a little effort but it goes a long way.

Hi guys,We found the only way to avoid disappointment was to avoid swingers parties and clubs. Usually terrible events and venues. Incredibly tacky, sleazy and desperate (in our opinion). We found vetting profiles carefully and making friends suited us better. Each to his own of course.E&M
