Spotting Swingers in the Wild 👀

June 14 2026

Have you ever spotted fellow swingers or even singles in the wild? Not at a club, event, or on a lifestyle site. Just out living your everyday life and suddenly thought, “I wonder if they’re in the lifestyle?” Sometimes it’s a vibe, a conversation, a look between people, or just that little gut feeling that gets your curiosity going. Of course, you never really know, but it’s always interesting when your lifestyle radar starts firing. Have you ever met a couple or single unexpectedly and later discovered they were in the lifestyle? Or have you ever recognised someone from a lifestyle site while out and about? What’s your best “spotted them in the wild” story? And do you think swingers and singles have a way of recognising each other, or is it all just wishful thinking?

Yes. We have. We have seen one couple who don’t have their faces covered in shots on the pie at our markets here. Just nodded but we don’t have our faces so they would not have understood the nod fully other than a polite hello. But we knew. Sometimes you might be in a shop and say something we would in the chat room to someone and they have this glint in their eye that they know what you are inferring, makes you wonder…

We were out with the bother inlaw and his partner, went to Hey Chica in the Valley.... we didn't know that there was a birthday party being held there. Peeps started walking past us, calling us by name and kissing us.... let's just say there are lots of car key jokes going on now!!!

Wishful thinking, because don't assume everyone is in the scene because they're not. No, you can't pick them. Yes, I have I've mentioned it before here in the forums. One time, when I was standing in supermarket queue. The man behind us (I was with my daughter at the time) stated to me "Hi Foxy". Just don't fucking do that! There's also many from my workplace here. Rule of thumb, I don't discuss or talk about that I know they are on here. There's only one person, that if we are going to discuss something, as a prewarn we use a code ("Have you had any of "Nanna's Pie" lately?) if we want to discuss something. Other than the above, I do see lots out but I just go along and mind my own business. Ms Foxy

For us, it has been the other way around. As we run meet and greets and have our faces on our profile. We have had people discreetly ask if we are who they think we are..

I feel it’s easy to spot true swingers. There is a vibe that’s noticeable. In the way they conduct themselves and how they interact with each other. Sure some don’t have that vibe, but we’ve approached dozens over the years and been right. Only once were we told ‘no we aren’t’ and funnily enough I ended up crossing paths with the wife and became friends. And over time she revealed they had dabbled in the lifestyle. I think if you hang around with enough people that are genuinely in the lifestyle and not just on the sidelines looking for some attention, you can tell.
