Stirs capital city stir fry.....

August 15 2014

So...I've been thinking about a few things of late...one of which are the attractions in each capital city..... So it's now over to you guys.....those living in the capital cities what is one attraction that you'd recommend to someone as a "OMG you just have to go see......"?? It could be a cafe, or anything really :) - Posted from rhpmobile

The awesome view from Kings Park. Then down to The Lucky Shag, (a waterside bar) , have a nice lunch and watch the dolphins swimming past.......

I lived in Perth for 4 years previously to now residing in Sydney, and in my view Perth has much better attractions for children and families, as well as being cheaper, less crowded and easier to access via car or public transport.... Perth MUST sees...: - The beautiful beaches - Hillary's beach, pavilion, and park - Kings park - Science Museum and Space Centre - The main casino..(forget name) - Fremantle markets and clubs... - the zoo... SYDNEY: -Darling Barbour has heaps to offer families and adults, night and day.. - Ferry rides to Manly - The Arc Bar is always FUN..!!! Ms C..😆👍 - - Posted from rhpmobile

You must go! Brunetti for coffee and cake. Melbourne... Any of the rooftop bars in the city... Ponyfish island for a drink on a nice day... Federation square and a stroll by the river... Dinner at Cumulus inc or MoVida (yolo). Go to Acland St StKilda for icecream then a stroll along the beach. I love being a tour guide...

compared to the regional and rural towns. Theres nothing like being in the country with an outdoor party, lights, bonfire, music and great people under the glory of a clear night sky that no city person is able to observe. Its an experience! - Posted from rhpmobile

Apparently I'm classified as in the country...and what you describe IS absolutely true....but I'd add some home made fireworks into that too :) However.... As you can very well appreciate coming from the regional areas the cities have more to offer in terms of different experiences....as there are only so many cows tits you can pull, only so many hills you can climb, and only so many grain silos you can see before you see it as "just another day at the office" - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'sir_stir' Just at the planning stage of a bit of a holiday that I can choose a city and go see some sights and make like a tourist :) - Posted from rhpmobile It is such a relaxed lifestyle, the weather is amazing, there are a lot of things to do at your leisure, it is easy to walk around and soak up the atmosphere, little day trips or smaller activities depending if you want to be busy or relaxed. It is a bit pricey though compared to what you are used to here.

For your input....there's honestly nothing quite like previous experiences of others to make a better tourist advice over brochures that are usually paid advertisements.... - Posted from rhpmobile
