  Can't help you with first hand experiences, but have a listen to the "bed hoppers uk" podcast (iTunes) They've given a number of the uk clubs a bit of a rundown. We don't remember any clubs in London proper getting rave reviews, but they were quite glowing about "vanilla alternative". You might need a quick geography lesson to work out exactly where it is... cool profile pic by the way!

  Vanilla alternative is a great club. It's about an hour north of London.

  Le Boudoir is the inner city hotspot. AB FAB has apparently re-opened, not sure where though. Was previously out at Heathrow. Avoid Our Place For Fun. The party scene is great and very active. Quite focused on youth though a lot of the time though. PM and I'll share a little more info.
