Thanks for the heads up. I will check out the schedule. Does anyone like the show "You Can't Ask That"? Its my favourite thing to watch and am looking forward to the new season. The swingers episode will be on it and they asked on here if anyone would like to participate. I admire the openness of the people who participate.

Quoting 'EarthQueen' Thanks for the heads up. I will check out the schedule. Does anyone like the show "You Can't Ask That"? Its my favourite thing to watch and am looking forward to the new season. The swingers episode will be on it and they asked on here if anyone would like to participate. I admire the openness of the people who participate. That's an excellent show. I didn't know they were doing a new series. I'll look out for it.

...I am a huge book worm. For anyone attending...can you please ask someone-anyone for me... Who the hell thought it was ok to cast Tom Cruise @5'7" as Jack Reacher! Love Lee Child- Jack Reacher series, read most of them I think but its really doing my head in, there is no way Tom Cruise is the physical description of Jack, not in his wildest dreams. My mind sees Jack Reacher more as a cross between The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) x Clint Eastwood x John Wayne. I realise there is "artistic license" at play....and probably a lot of $'s.....but really?

I just can't shake the picture in my minds eye of Tom Cruise standing on a box.🤔😌😱😵👿 It's now getting quite hard to find a new Jack Reacher book.

A Lee Child fan too. After many years of reading Jack Reacher books and then watched Tom Cruise in one, that's messed up. Such a huge mental discord for me and hard to reconcile an overwhelming character like Reacher as created by the author with diminutive Cruise. 👎 So won't watch anymore Reacher films unless they recast with someone like A young Clint Eastwood type or Hugh Jackman.

I couldn't watch TC as Reacher..On a tangent, who has seen the how fast can you read post on Farcebook? It goes right up to 700 words per minute, don't ask don't tell.

I haven't read fiction for almost 10 years though. I read non-fiction. Surprising, given that I was big on English Literature in my Junior College days! 😜 I now spend a lot of time in another forum where we are united by our love of the same interests. We discuss issues in-depth and learn from each other's expertise and experience. We also provide encouragement and moral support to each other in the eventful journey called Life. 😉 I'm loving the positive vibes in there! And OP, yes... I love word porn! 😄 And food porn! 😋 And Interior Decor porn! 😉 And... porn. 😁😆

Have to keep an eye out for something similar up here. Definitely a bookworm but my tastes are a bit more warped. Can never put a Niel Gaimen tome down. - Posted from rhpmobile

I do prefer discussion that is lively and well researched. And, I'm not the book worm I used to be unless we're counting the stuff I get to read on the internet because my attention span shortens by the day. Of course I won't be going because I live in the wrong state But great to imagine you will have a ball Gypsy, Peachy

Peachy, unfortunately budgetary constraints will limit my full enjoyment of the Festival but I am sure my mind will be well fed by what I do attend.

I am absolutely sure you are right, I know you will have a great time, lack of money notwithstanding. Peachy (goes to Google to see wtf she just said), spot on, amazing the way the mind works...
