If you are paying for a membership to this site and opt for the template crap such as: . - I'm looking for no-strings attached fun with people who seek the same. - I admit that I am a sexual animal and can't get enough. - People have described me as good-looking but you can be the judge of that. . ... Then I reserve the right when you then go and waste a one line message on me, to assume you are both lazy AND quite possibly a bit stupid. . Flirty x

We find it to be an instant turn off when a pofile's wording consists of those generic "template" phrases. It shows us that either they are not a genuine couple, or that they are too lazy to make an effort. Either way, we put them on ignore and don't bother further.

It's a good filtering tool - template profile = immediate ignore. I tend to ignore people who only put one or two lines about themselves too though. If you're serious about being on this site then it's not hard to write a bit about yourself.

I know how hard it is to write something when you first start on here... I had a template profile for the first six months of being on this site because I was sussing it out and gaining confidence. I agree with mischievous lad... You can miss some lovely people by ignoring template profiles. Xx

I can't spell for shit and care factor is zero . Guys are in deep shit if they are not a Rhodes scholar or a six pack with a horse cock. Your average guy hardly gets a look in no matter what he writes. Lucky for me I never judge a book by its cover and ohh my some if my bedtime reading came in brown paper bags. Step outside your comfort zone I dare you to take a chance on a crap profile. That hunky tradie who can't be fucked writing war and peace cause he is too busy fucking offline . It's all an illusion anyone can't type up a storm or show their best pictures. In the end it's when you meet offline how you present yourself that counts , there your honesty will be put to the test. - Posted from rhpmobile

Lol that reminds me of my roots :) I'm a born and bred Kalgoorlie girl who's dad owns a pub or 3. I learnt to read from the skimpies in the front bar while they practiced hanging teaspoons off their nipples. And they are some of the most gorgeous giving people I have met :) So mate if your whistling at me...your dogs tied up out the front. Quoting 'Meander' I tend to shake my head at the ones mentioning "winks". You spotted my deliberate mistake... (backing away quietly to change profile now). And I certainly wouldn't confuse RHP with AMM, there is a much stronger feeling of community here from what I've experienced so far.

Hi there, While I will admit your physical appearance is somewhat breathtaking, I was just curious given that you have quite a boring template profile, what exactly do you offer that makes you stand out from all the other women on RHP, that would see me falling over myself in order to court you??? - Posted from rhpmobile

Don't judge a book by its cover. You cant be serious with that... which in itself, is a generalisation Were you to truly believe that, there would be generic type profiles in your friends list, and your own profile would be less descriptive and detailed. Not buying it DG You should take a little time out, find a dictionary and look up the noun generalisation, then re-read my post. Then with your new found knowledge point out exactly where in my post I exhibit any generality. Hint the adverb "sometimes" modifies the adjectives "interesting and intelligent" If you where referring to the idiom "Don't judge a book by its cover." I present the prima facie case that "All that glitters is not gold." as a juxtapositional argument demonstrating that both idioms can in no way be considered as "Generalizations" Thank you DG for taking the time to read my post and reply. The informative and inappropriate personalisation of your response at least demonstrates you comprehended the underlying inference and provided me a little window into the nature of insecurities. Now back to he stall."Cookies and cream, hookers and queens, get em while their hot!" \.

I don't stand in lines, ever. My dog would never need to be tied and if I were to whistle it would have the irresistible note of a siren's song.

What you put into things is what you get out of them. Thankfully, the five years I've spent on RHP has only yielded for me the best of the best. I have only met fantastic people and made valuable friends. Perhaps I've been lucky. Or perhaps I am getting what I give *shrug* . If you can't spell for shit and have a zero care factor, then you will likely be well suited to someone whose care factor is the same, or less than yours. Awesome! That means you are also getting what you give, resulting in two very happy people who found themselves a good 'fit'. Whilst I hope not to attract 'average guys', you know, the kind 'who hardly get a look in no matter what they write', I still choose to reply to EVERY message I am sent, irrespective of typos, nauseating or offensive pornographic introductions or their appearance. . Any hunky tradie who contacts me, assuming he would even take the time to look at my profile in the first place, will receive a reply. Hopefully he makes an effort to tell me something about himself though, make his message truly count, or he will simply need to be content with being 'too busy fucking offline' with someone who cares more about what he does with his mouth than what comes out of it. . No, I reckon I'm pretty happy with the view from where I'm sitting! . Flirty x

I am not whistling at you Ms Red. I am addressing the topic. If I make a comment that's directed at a person I will mention their name. I mostly don't unless it's a person I have actually meet offline. As to be honest the reality of that person remains an Internet creation till that point. I know all about Kal. My stepmother was born there, I went to school there and I worked for years on the prospector and Indian pacific. I do know several publications as well. So the colourful life you describe I know very well. Your descriptive prose does allude to the rough side off the track. - Posted from rhpmobile

My reference to typos was actually much earlier in this forum and was in reference to the profiles I see that I believe lack effort. As I have not read yours (you don't meet my seeking criteria), I am unaware as to what you say in it or how you spell it. Nor am I a big fan of receiving or giving condescending pats on the head so please don't misinterpret my personal opinions as being somehow patronising or superior to anybody else's, yours included. . Merely offering my opinion, one I have never made any bones about expressing here before. You know, as I've idled away my time, racking up (typographically correct) years on RHP *yawn* . I can still count on my hands the number of people I have met from RHP, so please don't confuse my expectations with my 'experience'. . Flirty x .

I am not a fan of text book profiles but we have met members who met our purpose very well even with such profiles. I guess significant members let only their pictures do talking without further investing in profile. The reasons need not be just being lazy. If it works for them. let it be.

It's about the tone of someone's profile as well as the content. I read a profile today where instead of explaining what was looking for specifically, the guy described how sick he was of fakes, attention seekers and time wasters. Eloquent? Sure, but an instant no.

I am interested in this thread, good to see that several of you prefer a more thought out profile. I am often put off by a template profile just for the lack of original thought. They make me think, could I hold a conversation with someone who has that little to say? If you can't at least come up with a few original lines and give me some insight into you as a person then any approch from me is going to be fairly formulaic and based solely in looks or the fact that genetics may have given you a breasts and vagina.....lucky you by the way...; p

If you read my previous profile it was very detailed. I had a lot if pictures that I kept up to date. I changed my pictures a lot as I wanted to make sure that when I did meet a guy he did not say, shit your 20 years older and fifty kilo heavier than your profile indicates but he'll I will fuck you anyway cause I put petrol in the car and I don't want to waste it. Now I have a very basic one and the response I get is almost the same- so this to me means I have a girl bits so on rhp that means what I have on my profile is not that important. Hence my post re flirts , my first words on my profile " don't send me a flirt as I cannot reply" I get at least 20 flirts a day. P's I don't have instant posting so I responded to some posts as they seemed directed at me, my bad that I got that horribly wrong. Lady that taking foot out of mouth

I saw you mentioned your real name and Fb account on a different thread, and if you did the same on your profile that would explain why RHP perhaps rejected it. Web pages, email addresses and phone numbers are not allowed in any written part of your profile. Hope that helps.

If you are a guy, you can't have a text book profile - it will reduce your chances of scoring. However, there is no doubt that there are genuine women on here who have text book profiles. If you exclude these women from your contacts then you will be missing out. It is fair to say, yes some people are lazy/ can't be bothered to fill in 'another online profile' - but there are some genuinely hot women behind these prefilled profiles.
