The pic hunters - what motivates them?

Most of the women and couples on here - and no doubt a lot of the guys as well - would have the experience of receiving an initial message and the sender asking for access to a PG straight away, or asking to 'swap pics'. In most cases it's safe to assume that they're not talking about swapping pics of cute puppies, but are referring to semi-nudes / nudes / sex action shots. I've often wondered why some people will go to a fair amount of trouble to try and see the hidden x-rated pics of others on sites like RHP. There are plenty of such pics in people's public galleries, although granted you need to be a paying member to see them. Not to mention there is an internet full of free porn of every description, a quick google and you're on your way. Thoughts?

Like any other desire or fetish it's what floats there boat. I guess for all that say no, some will say yes? I don't mind if someone contacts me and wants to see my pics but I choose not to have them public for some control. - Posted from rhpmobile

In their minds they might get to meet a real person,or fantasise about a real person..pictures of porn stars etc are in an entirely different realm...but only the pic hunter knows what their motivation is Q

reason is interesting. There's plenty of amateur porn out there with people who are very real, and they know those people as well as they know someone they've just messaged here, i.e. not at all. We also know that there's often no intention of actually meeting. I'd like to know what makes it so different in those cases (I have some ideas but will wait to see what else is said).

We honestly have no idea except to assume that the profiles doing it are in fact "fake" profiles, we are thinking men just after pics! It seems to happen a lot on here, we are on here to actually meet people. It amazes us that there are so many people that are just after pics. - Posted from rhpmobile

I think it is the fact that they are real but to touch on your reply Ms_Dragon, I think it is more that they are someone that they think they could possibly get with as opposed to amateur porn where they have no contact with the person. But if you're just hunting pics then they're probably going to do the Harold Holt if someone replies and wants to meet lol - Posted from rhpmobile

Albeit vacuous initially, there is some sense of the human interaction with any profile that you come across as opposed to the very silent 2 dimensional images found in the pictures and videos on the internet. I sometimes wonder if a polite ''Fuck off'' isn't the answer the person was perhaps actually seeking. It's really quite impossible to speculate. Too, any form of social media has thrown the balances askew with regard to isolation and creates an almost desperate type of loneliness. You can sit anywhere you like and be anyone or anything in the world. Yet you still are alone and no one is the wiser. It may be a way to attempt to fill an emotional void. Short form...who knows. We agreed with the common answer given so far, and wondered the same thing: so much free porn on the internet why the bother of RHP? So we entertained the idea of a more broad spectrum of reasons: The most cynical: it's a form of power play. A not even sexual interest to collect pictures. Maybe narcissistic tendencies? I've wondered this myself and I'm sick to death of it. There was a time when I'd be snapping away, sending through daily pics to guys I was leading up yo meeting. Then I started noticing a pattern, all about them. It used to work okay when I was getting pictures back, but a few started emerging who would get off to the pictures and sexting, then either fall asleep, leaving me high and dry 😠 or disappear altogether. I also started to find it annoying when out or busy. I'd spend my whole time at the beach taking pictures, factor in screen reflection, can't even see the screen properly, where I wanted to be swimming and would rather they just came and met me at the beach. There are the 'single' married ones lol need I go on. I'm over it basically. 2 people connecting requires respect and mutual care/consideration for each other. It quite often turns me off now

Re why they get pics from us and not elsewhere on the internet, I believe it's because they feel they know us a bit, as opposed to watching generic porn most of which can be boring. Throw in sexting, and we should charge for it lol that was a joke obviously but that's the way it sometimes makes me feel 😃

I keep my erotic pics to myself in my PG2 and face and fully clothed pics in PG1. I will open PG1 but not PG2. PG2 is for when I have actually met them and made a judgement call. Sometimes it's not until we've had a play date. It just depends. I've stopped sending pics to people I haven't met. And keep explicit pics to those I have known for a while and still make sure I can't be recognised (well by those that don't know me intimately ) I got caught out a couple of times in my early days here and will not make the same mistake again. Not sure what motivates them. Again as mentioned, could be a power play or wanting a connection or a trophy. Who knows? I just won't fuel their fantasy or their trophy count

We should take some of the blame for the pic hunters looking for more. Most of us put sexy shots up on our profiles to attract attention and it must make the guys wonder whats underneath. I know if I see a profile pic of a fit looking guy in shorts I wonder what he would look like naked. I wouldnt ask him for nude pics but then men are a bit more carefree in that area. And yes, porn is all same/same when it comes to pornstar bodies, big boobs, pert bum, shaved pussy and bleached bum hole, long legs etc etc. On here there are real, curvy and elusive women so the temptation to see more is there.

We had tried a site for my wife that was girls only. Anyway, we had this hot young lady doing the usual attempting to get pictures, my wife did thinking it was genuine. I then noticed the pictures of this apparent member from a adult only funny website that also has amateurs on it. This person had ripped off someones identity posing to be the owner of a certain business. Ive contacted the business owner and found that no such person was the owner or worked for them. So after that we wised up. I feel these people have a issue with trying to obtain what others can't, the harder the challenge the more kicks if they score what they are chasing. Also I'd hate to think this being the case, but could it be paid people to keep members interested in the site?

It's just material to fill out all the fake profiles moving from one site to another ? Doesn't seem to effect me, even from the guys. Should I be sad about that ? How would you be feeling if no one was interested in your pics ? Be careful what you wish for perhaps ?

Is it always x-rated pics you believe they are chasing..!!!!!! For me personally.. I am very visual... and need to see a persons face to be able to fuck em... If I'm not attacted to them.. it wont be on the cards.. And I would expect the same in return... Whatever their sexual prowess is.. I'm open to it...But each to their own lol

My public gallery has relatively innocuous pics that would be relatively difficult to identify me. My private galleries contain face and fully dressed body pics in one and some erotic (not explicit in another). These are opened when I'm comfortable. I like to see who I'm speaking with before I open my private gallery. Mainly to make sure that I don't know them and secondly to see if they are what I find attractive (nice smile, great eyes, open face). If someone asks to see my photos first up these days, it's a no thank you. Not only is it a privacy thing...they obviously haven't read my profile. Either way I do try and limit my exposure where possible. I will also go through my PG access list on a regular base and close down those I have left open for people I no longer communicate with or nothing eventuated or just because I can. Whatever the reason, if someone wants any pics they have to jump through a few hoops. And I always warn people that my photos aren't explicit.... And I will close them down ...
