Buddy, you’re 18 and at that age blokes are usually wondering “is this it?” Naturally you’ll keep growing for another three year or so, and then you’ll start filling out that shape with muscle mass, and I mean that most sincerely, because your testosterone levels are through the roof compared to someone my age. Growing lean muscle mass is a heap easier for your age group. I don’t know what you do for a crust but if it’s physical work, you don’t need to do anything else. If you’re sitting on your arse all day at work, you will need to take advantage of the testosterone while it’s still there. By the time you reach 35 it starts to tail off... so at that point you need to watch what you eat and start putting in a bit of effort (unless you want heart disease by the time you’re fifty) and by the time you’re 45 you produce half the testosterone you do now.... so your energy levels are lower and you will put on the fat levels faster, no matter what you seem to do. By the time you’re my age your T count is stupid low and your estrogen count puts man boobs on the back of your neck so you’ve got to give up dessert all together. Up side is, you look like you’re going to be rocking a decent all over strength type rugby build and nothing is going to stop your momentum, so own it. Huds Dad.

What if we are just born a thin thoroughbred ???? U know like the old old old saying You can't fatten thoroughbreds or a stray dog, and I'm not a stray dog. 😎😅😀 Skip that last question I can feel the floods gates giving way so I'm off to the norty corner before I get a good dressing down for failed attempt at humor, "AGAIN".

I'm quite open to most types of bodies if the personality goes with it. If your insecurities and we all have them well l do anyway are affecting you, use your age to your advantage. And a smile also goes a long way with the ladies 😊

Yes I'm a fan of a ripped guy. Fucking hot. But life is far from perfect. I have my preference but when it comes to the business end, l have my hands on the bed head and looking at whatever pic they put there and I can't see it. But yeah ripped wins. Yes definitely....... Yes. Did l mention yes?

I don’t call myself chubby, usually it’s just plain fat.... But there are different ways to change that connotation into a much more palatable...pardon the pun Those are... 1. I’m shapely...round IS a shape 2. I was told I could be anything I wanted, so I decided to be bacon....everyone loves bacon ;) 3. I may be aerodynamic but you’ll never lose me in a crowd.... 4. Call me Moses...I’ll part the sea, the crowd, and your doorways!!! - Posted from rhpmobile

I’m far from perfect and being a curvy/bigger girl, I like a man to be solid and strong. If the muscles are covered with a layer of fat, well all the more to hang on to 😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

To be honest I look at the face and the personality. If I find those two things attractive in a man, it doesn't matter if he is 70kgs or 130kg!! That said though, I still find the ripped guys attractive, but being a "chubby" girl myself, I do find I become a bit intimidated by them, my own insecurities come out and I find it difficult to relax. I end up feeling like I am "punching above my league". I once had a playdate with a bigger guy who I found attractive and had engaged my mind, it was amazing! I also liked being the "little" spoon for once. I liked feeling smaller and it made me feel sexy :) Either way, different people look for different things in others.

Hey guys & gals, One thing I have noticed over time is that most people prefer, particularly on a long term basis, a body similar to there own, there are always exceptions of course peeps.Apart from that, Its always interesting to see when a member puts on there profile "if your a after a rake move onto the next profile" "womenly curves" " I wont break when handled" yet in contrast you never see a slim or even skinny member mention this toward the latter. Just food for thought..For me I have my preferences & there not all similar to my body. Substance wins.

It's the photo's we see on here. They mostly come across as pretty damn good. I know that because I'm happy with my own. And I'm guessing most people are like me.They don't show the beer gut or the backside that's bigger than I liked it before. But I still like myself. Try not to let it bother you. Being confident is the most important thing. And you have to like yourself to be that.

Its a very personal thing. If we all liked the same there would be more disagreements than there already are in here!!!However, chubby, ripped, dad bod you have to feel secure in yourself. Otherwise that's what people see first! I laugh at myself now, I used to be so skinny as a teen, and in my twenties and had so many insecurities. I purposely put on weight to protect myself. The belief being men dont like bigger women. Not so. And the same applies to men. Now I'm bigger, probably more than I should be, but am also more confident. Call me chubby, call me fat, call me curvy. I own it!!! (most of the time)

Huge back in the day, my massive chest just slid down a little the last few years. 😜 I would classify myself as fit but not muscly. Little curvy in the usual dad spots. Actually haven’t been the weight I am now for 6 or so years. Kicked 14kg off the last 12 months. Conscious decision to better myself. The reason was simple, I wasn’t happy with me. But, if you are happy with who you see in the mirror, how you feel others see you shouldn’t really matter. Like a few have mentioned, a happy smiling vivacious ( thanks sexyV) outlook will have many take a second look. That disposition is attractive in itself. Look to the stars mate, your young, push that confidence up and take flight. Life is meant for living! And best lived full of naughty adventures 😜 BB - Posted from rhpmobile

A nice face over an overly ripped body. For me (Mrs) I need to be attracted to the face to even consider doing anything. Once I like a face, I'm not too fussed about body 😜 - Posted from rhpmobile

Being yourself and confident within your self is so true. Body image is something I'm now happy with, dosen't matter that, I can't see my toes while swimming, that's just how it is. 😅😆

isn’t it funny all the people that openly say they don’t like ripped or skinny guys , and that’s ment to be ok ,but as a said skinny guy who eats as much as he can ,sucks down protein powder trying to get some bulk on and just trying to keep fit at the same time enough is enough ,i would get slammed for openly saying i don’t like chubby or fat women blah blah blah ,and that’s not the truth just saying i would be judged an asshole for being so judgey , and contrary to believe a lot of fit and skinny guys happily like most body types up to a very point and even then a pretty face and smile would suck a lot in , i get sick to death of people being more condescending of skinny or muscle guys cos it seems these days they aren’t the norm and people think it’s ok ,but it’s not ,body type bashing or shaming isn’t just for the larger type ,remember that when your happily hacking on the skinny guys ,maybe just maybe they can’t do anything about it as much as a larger person can’t shed it , thanks ,skinny guy rant over - Posted from rhpmobile

13kg in 5 months. I was fat. Making me 67kg and a medium size. I'm attracted to a guy of similar healthy weight with some muscle and a bit of fat covering. I can appreciate that Mr Lean Machine may be doing everything to bulk up. But I just don't find the ectomorph body type attractive. Not even in the times over the years where i've been skinny myself. Still went for the Stocky guy who wasn't too tall. It's totally unconcious of course but it's my type and I cant change it.

That wasn't a rant young fellow, positive vibes of the highest order. Many thanks Just because people's shadows are heavier than me, has never made my statue any less. I laugh with myself and at myself all the time. It's always been the whole person when I meet them, not the outer casing, that I find interesting, makes the world go around. I'm more of a "Tim the tool man Taylor", with a "Russell Cought", outback flavour. So people's task are different, but look under the bonnet first before u tell me, it just looks different. I wasn't learnt good, so have never been able to read book by its cover, mmmmm wait wait "yep I'm over it". But today I'm got a smile on my dial reading your positive vibes heading to work. Stand proud walk tall.

Im not a fan of ripped guys, I've been with overweight guys and I'm fine with that too. For me it really comes down to the person, obviously if you're incredibly boring, sit at home all day and don't do anything with your life and on top of that are overweight then I'm not going to be interested in you. But if you're active and try to eat well and look after yourself then I prefer that. Its more about being attracted to someone who's interesting and active than it is about their appearance. I think confidence goes a long way with being an attractive person, big or small. Gotta love yourself before anyone else can love you.

To me looks aren’t all , A ripped guy is good to look at , but that’s all I’ve dated guys with a belly and they are far nicer and more respectful than the ones with the gym junkies bodies. I do like a dad bods or toned too . but to stereotype , the gym junkie guys are just as bad as the overly tanned air head blonde barbies! Chemistry and attraction is something but attraction to the mind is what I like most! Intelligence is sexy! - Posted from rhpmobile

I`ve been both sides of the fence I mean skinny and chubby. I only put weight on when I was in a relationship, and as soon we broke up, my extra weight gone!I lost 10 kgs over 2 months and lost another 2kg in March...whatever The point is, there are a pressure on us to look good better healthier and most of us who knows the difference being fit , wants to stay like that.It is not just the benefit of being healthy or more energized, but in most cases but getting more attention as well. And I can tell you average guys getting "0" ZERO!!! attention, unless well off. ohh yes, let`s just be honest about it. So, answer to rocksalt`s question from my perspective. Faster you get rid of it the bigger advantage you get.
