To circumcise or not to circumcise. That's the question.

April 19 2018

I m an uncircumcised male. And of late I ve been wondering whether to get circumcised or not. I ve done my research and there are some benefits such as less risk of STIs but there are risks such as infections and risks of the procedure. Also i feel it would be uncomfortable to have the head rub on cloth of the undergarment. On the positive side i feel women like circumcised men more.. or may be thats a myth. I d like your thoughts on this. Thank you 😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

But if I could wave a magic wand I’d go uncircumcised. There’s more to play with. So for me it is a myth. Don’t do it for someone else. Only do it for you. What if you don’t like it? There’s no going back? - Posted from rhpmobile

Its, busted. Once upon a time it was the done thing. Now not so much. Hence today's woman are less inclined to see it as a drawback. Its your toy, do what you want with it. But i don't see how you'd be at less risk from STI's. Hygiene part of the thing i don't see either. I think that was the selling point back in the day of circumcisions. You bathe right?

Circumcised. In our opinion a circumcised penis looks better, feels better, is easier to clean and less prone to infections and STI’s. Both our boys were circumcised at birth and slept, naturally, during the procedure. Historically, male circumcision posts on here have almost always turned into a bunfight, so have your popcorn ready :) - Posted from rhpmobile

Unless you are experiencing pain or the insecurity about it is affecting your mental wellbeing then leave it alone. I couldnt give a hoot whether a guy is circumsized or not, Ive been with both. Given a circ'd one looks prettier and less like an earthworm, but hey genitals aren't exactly the most attractive looking things anyway so who cares!

I spent my life up until young adulthood uncircumcised, then in my early 20's had to go and get the snip. There is a definite loss of sensitivity once circumcised. This has its good and bad points. I had a bit of a problem with hypersensitivity which enhanced any stimulation or pleasure, but with the resultant effect of sometimes it was too much for me and I would come very prematurely - sometimes even with fondling. This of course was the downside. Since being circumcised I am far less sensitive - this has had a positive effect on my ''staying power'', but a negative effect on how much pleasure I derive from oral sex being performed on me, among other things. It's not like I can't feel anything, it's just that I feel a lot less pleasure from any contact. By far the main benefit was from a hygiene standpoint (without getting too icky, my foreskin was disproportionately small prior to circumcision so cleaning the old fulla properly was painful to say the least). Overall my snip was a good move, and medically advised, but you need to think about it. I am lucky (in a way) that I have experienced both pre and post circumcision so can recount my experience of the difference. There is a difference, so you need to weigh that up.

I think there’s little medical evidence of proven benefits of circumcision in the general population. Although obviously some men do develop issues which require it to be medically necessary. As for a reduced risk of STIs and UTIs, penile cancer etc.- those risks can be reduced by practising safe sex and by having good personal hygiene anyway. My husband is not circumcised and neither are our three sons. If foreskins weren’t meant to have a function or benefit then men would be naturally be born without them. Most of my friends when we have discussed this issue also have uncircumcised partners and haven’t had their sons done either. We don’t go removing parts of the female anatomy to prevent STIs and UTIs so why should we with males? - Posted from rhpmobile

I have a son he isn't circumcised no reason to get him done at all. A lot of guys want their sons done because they are circumcised thats very weird. Only get it done because you want to not because women or men are saying to get it done. Any cock is great to suck if its clean and once its fucking us we can't tell the difference 😉😎. - Posted from rhpmobile

The AMA doesn't support circumcision. There's very few remaining paediatric surgeons that will even perform it nationality on neonates and children, and as an adult you'd have better luck finding a cosmetic surgeon to perform it than a urologist or general surgeon. Medically (in Australia) there is zero benifit to outweigh the risks of performing the procedure in the absence of medical complications that dont't respond to topical hormone treatment. Anesthesia, post operative infection, nerve damage and medicolegal risk (when you regret your choice later) are all factors surgeons are concidering. The medical benifits you will see cited with semi robust evidence such as reduced rates of STI or UTI generally come from counties with limited access to condoms, antibiotics, antivirals and let's face it access to a doctor at all. And running water to bathe in. That is not Australia. As for sex. The foreskin when extended over an erect penis provides a relatively mobile section to move against the underlying shaft which limits friction, be it against your hand, a sock, a vagina or whatever it's in contact with for the purpose of you getting off. In contrast circumcision exposes that entire section to direct contact with the stimilus of choice, thus increasing the need for lube and/or causeing desensitivity for both you and the human recipient (if there is one). Basically friction resulting from standard motion during sex is greatly reduced in the presence of a foreskin. As for asthetics... Find people who make you hard before you get your kit off and chances are they won't be able to tell anyway. And for people who cite hygiene as an issue, blame the lad's parents for not teaching basic hygiene, not the presence of anatomically neccesary part of the body... if you've got a reasonable chance of getting blown just wash your dick before going back in from the loo to seal the deal. Don't get a fucking circumcision!🤣😂 - Posted from rhpmobile

The penis head rubbing on your underwear is a non issue so eject that out of the equation. Yes, it is a fact that circumcised is more preferred. But basically, apart from some minor benefits of hygiene etc, it boils down to cosmetic surgery. So if it makes you feel better, more confident then...... I think it ironic that many will try and talk you out of it. But some of those will not hesitate to get breast implants, nose jobs, labia tucks etc to improve their appeal and confidence. Base your decision away from this forum as you will get so many conflicting posts your head will spin off well before the thread gets deleted.

The research based on lower infections was for underdeveloped countries where the STIs rates are high When I was pregnant with my boy I did a lot of research and now feel strongly against it. The risks seem to outweigh the benefit. At my age I was previously used to circumcised penises but as someone who now often plays with younger men I now have no preference. If nature put something there who am I to remove it without a darn good reason. And if a person can't get past their personal preferences I'd say "NEXT!!" - Posted from rhpmobile

Mr Play is not circumcised. His foreskins rolls right back making it very easy to clean and essentially looks not much different when he’s ready for action anyway. As far a six goes we have a fantastic sex lie and it makes no difference, in fact for oral it’s probab a bit better as there is some more to play with!

Thank you everyone for the very informative comments. I ve decided to keep it as nature gave it.😊 And thank you for pointing out that the STI data was from countries with poor health care access. That was one of the main reasons if at all that pushed me in the direction of circumcision. And yes I do bathe and I do clean it thoroughly two times a day 😊. Thanks again you lovely people.❤ - Posted from rhpmobile

It’s an interesting thing to ponder. If the survey says yes, do you go through with it? And if it says no.... does a circumcised man see one back?? Personally I think.... you’re thinking too much about the wrong aspect here Your last comment about believing women prefer circumcised men, is relevant from the point of view in that... a) it’s your personality which appeals to a woman to inspire any flirting and progressive sexual escalation And b) once progressed into sexual activities, you elevate and enhance her sexual experiences by being amazing at it Now, I’m happy to be proven wrong, but, I expect your foreskin only plays a part if (a) and (b) fail you

Playing with an uncircumcised pen is always more fun. My guy is super sensitive on the very tip of his foreskin, so rolling this around my tongue and then gently sucking and pulling on it so it pops over his penile head, really gets him off, doesn't work like this for every foreskin, but ladies give this a try with your guy whom has one. With a foreskin, no need for lube as saliva works just fine and tastes heaps better than lube.

First of all I must say that it is refreshing to see so many people say that they prefer a natural and normal penis. I think it is a sad thing that it should even be questioned whether someone prefers a cut penis or not. Also, anyone whom have circumcised their child without their consent it stealing one of the most preciousthings from their body, it is a very sad and scary reality we live in. Be happy with the way you were born and do not care about what other people think. Females genitals nor male genitals are not perfect in any way, just embrace the way it looks and feels :).

When I was at school ( last century ) I was one of the very few kids who was not circumcised and I got quite a lot of grief. I mean who wants to be different. When puberty hit, many boys asked me whether it 'felt better' masturbating and a few were keen to give me a handjob just to see. The girls were pretty surprised when they saw / stroked me at the local pool - another story - and one found some medical literature ( way before internet ! ) that said the uncut penis was 15% more sensitive. So I got a new nickname .. I understand all the medical issues, especially with STDs and HIV , but it's easy to clean and alot of fun. Being intact suits me - no proscribed medical procedures to annoy my life. And , just as female circumcision is the patriarchy's cruel response to 'limit pleasure' , I assume it was the same for men. I know that circumcision was proscribed for 'mental patients' to curb their enthusiasm.

If it wasnt there for a reason , then why is it there ? Leave nature alone , already its caused a division of who has and who hasnt , whats best and whats not ? Women these days have become more savy and are no longer swayed by public opinion as once was the case. It is what it is , leave it be and just go out and enjoy yourself...

Our boys slept through it all. Naturally and unaided by any medications to help them sleep. They were snipped the day after they were born. As they slept naturally through the 2 minute process they don’t remember a thing. But then no newborn would remember. For us it looks better ( yes we all have different tastes, standards & opinions) . In our opinion it’s much easier to keep clean as there is nowhere for urine and smegna (the smelly stuff) to get trapped nor build up. Not one circumcised adult male has ever regretted being circumcised at birth. Strangely it’s only some uncircumcised males that have such an issue about it, possible due to the stigma of being uncircumcised and perhaps have developed an inferiority complex about it all
