Good Post luna_eclipse! My opinion...............ALWAYS be honest! Truth has a way of coming out n biting you on the "derriere" when you least expect it to!! Common sense says it may take a large number of "meets" before you find a person you are compatible with to "hook up" n have fun together. The old saying "You have to sort the wheat from the chaff", is very true! No shame in saying you have met n shared coffee n chat with several people. Good Luck hunny on your RHP journey!!! Personally, I don't ask the question - to me, it's like asking how many past flings, past partners, past 'in generals' someone has had. Not relevant one bit I find, and so my answer if asked is along the lines of 'I've met some people'. I'm not sure why people ask it - would it be a question asked in a bar or in any other meeting place? "Can I buy you a drink, and by the way - how many people in this place have you played with?" So I don't think it's the answer that's the problem - it's the person asking the question.

I've been to RHP parties where they've asked me to fill in survey's etc and I didnt lie. So I'm guessing they simply publish the results their users give them.

I dont kiss and tell, but its only natural a guy brags just to make themselves feel better than the rest. To the guys, its all about competition. Me? i dont care, im upfront an d honest, and if i say i did X amount of shags with Y amount of women. Then thats the truth of it. There is no "too many" and "not enough" BUT, if one isnt careful, "Too many" can be a health Hazard. :)

Why lie, where is it going to get you, be honest and tell the truth. We have been lied to by a certain couple and then discovered through a bit of detective work due to something the male part said that she is a working lady and they get together with couples so he can get his rocks off and she acts all sweet and innocent like she has never done anything before. Lesson learnt by us, now we trust no one, so lying is not really the way to go, get some honesty into your life, and who wants to be friends with liars. shy

maybe that's their fantasy roleplay tho. I hate being deceived, so I am very honest. A lot of the time that works against me tho. Oh well, I'll just keep being honest. I haven't hooked up with anyone through this site... yet. But I have hooked up with people from going to clubs that I have learnt about through this site. Does that make sense?

As I said I believe in honesty, but my last RHP hook up had asked and I told him the number and he was shocked, thats my reason for asking the question. I am disgusted at this mans behaviour!! 5 is not many! Its none of his business to start off with! The only reason he is shocked at your honest answer is that you must have been the only hook up he had. It was very kind of you to take pity on him and he should bow down at your feet and thank you!! Guys - if there is any chance you won't like the answer...dont ask the question!!

I dont see what the issue is here. If you are hooking up for sexual encounters only and are not getting married to each other and not dating, then why does it matter how many people you have met and what you have done. Life is too damn short to worry about it.

I don't think it really matters how many hookups you have, as that is your personal business as most people have said... My thoughts is that the hookup may have been asking not cos he really wanted to know the ins and outs of your personal sex life, but maybe cos he wanted to know how effective this site is from your perspective... ?? Dunno... just food for thought

Im not hurting anyone by meeting and having some fun but if asked i usually say a few as its my life and not something everyone needs to know the ins and outs off as long as your playing it safe go out and enjoy...go with your gut instinct

If you need to lie about anything to people then thats what you are going to get back. Personally we believe that a person of integrity has no need to lie about any aspect of their profile. As far as telling people numbers, our response is simply that it can vary so much depending on what people look for that its not worth discussing.

Lying is bad in all aspects of life and relationships so why should this kind of thing be any different. We are all conditioned to think that the number of sexual partners you have in your life is important and most of us are conditioned to think that those of us who are lucky to have had a lot are in some way dirty or undesirable. In reality it doesn't matter. If someone asks us we are upfront. If that means that they don't talk to us again then they were not good people to know anyway!!!!! Like your mum told you when you were a teenager, be yourself!

5 From October till April, (hear me counting on my fingers) One every 5 weeks or so. Yupe Luna Eclipse in a males point of view that makes you an easy slut. If however I did the same. I would be a class act. Doesn't quite seem fair does it. The rules are if he is seriously asking from underneath your sheets & you think he is pretty special. You can't lie. For everyone else it is none of their buisness

It's interesting that it tends to be females that say to lie when it is mostly females that complaing they reckon the guys lie. I don't see the point in lieing although with a record of zero meetings in 8 months as a paying member (paid from October08 same time you joined although I had been a member for 2 years or more at that point), I sometimes wonder if I should. As for the guy being shocked, who is to say is wasn't shocked that you hadn't had more than 5. If he was genuinely shocked that you had 5 he has no idea about this site. If a woman wanted to and lived in a reasonably populated area she could have that every week if she wanted from here. Wouldn't be hard at all. Quality might not be great though. So to lie about it, no. I've been with around 35 women in my life and I only say around because I would have to try to work out the exact number. I know it's not less but at most would be only 3 or 4 more. Probably around 10 of those I met online from various places/sites over the years. But for some reason I haven't even come close on this site. Last meeting I had from an online source was March 08. I didn't lie on any of the other sites and don't see the point if you want to meet. On another side though it depends on what the intentions are. If you are meeting for a casual hookup it shouldn't matter to them. If they are looking at a relationship then it might depending on their morals (maybe this is the wrong site for them), but 5 is a low number. I had a woman once that claimed to have had over 200.
