To tie or not to tie on the first date!

  In my experience, bondage is only undertaken once you feel safe to engage in activities where you have little to no control. I've had the pleasure of indulging in light bondage with those I did not know well, however I was not the one being tied up or incapacitated in any way, in addition to my being in the company of others at a bdsm party. Some like to live on the edge and let their libido overrule their common sense however I neither support it or encourage it when negotiating play sessions. Besides, anticipation RULES!!

  Never allow yourself to be incapacitated in any way in a one on one play situation! What if something happens to your partner?I recall reading a book when i was a young fella (Stephen King or Dean Koontz i think!) about a couple in a cabin in the woods, she was trussed up and he had a heart attack or something and died (memory hazy on the details..was a long time ago).I don't think it ended happily!Cheers Nev

  I discuss these thingsKeep the ties "loose" and there shouldn't be a problem first upAs trust grows so too can the restraintWell tied knots are easy to undo in emergency or always keep a rescue hook,knife etc handy

  So as players that have found ourselves drawn to the tie me up , tie me down side of play and the world of D/S we have not found many people comfortable with this sort of thing straight up. Interestingly we would not be interested either, in tieing them up! (hang on but you just said ..... keep reading lovely)   Really this is about the trust that builds up to a point where you allow your play partner to tie you .. restrain you. (for us that is)  You know, it's this part the build up , the getting to know someone,  to get them to feel connected enough to you to allow themselves to be given to you , that is most exciting!   Could it happen on the first time  ....................possibly yes as a very exciting devilish risk taking moment! Yup we could see that happening. Would we ,no but of course .....horse's for courses ..........oh does that makes sense ................ no ............. ah why start now!     Restraint , ropes and chains to all swingers!   B
