There really is a must see thing in Tassy. Its one of those places that all the little things that are around each corner makes it what it is. Strahan.......if you like the best seafoodsCradle MountainWine Glass BayEagle Hawke Neck..........Do that when going to Port Arthur, and do a "Ghost tour" Kids might enjoy GrindelwaldIt doesn't have a big pineapple /Banana or Orange, but there is a Penguin somewhere. Just follow your nose, do a lap, you'll find some great places

Absolute must see and do is Materanka hot springs in the Elsey National Park, south of Katherine in the Northern Territory. It’s a little diversion off the main Stuart Highway but you mustn’t drive past. Great place for the whole family and great little spots for mum and dad to sneak off and have some fun.

You are just gunna have the best time!! 30 years since we did it, and as soon as someone takes this millstone of a business from around my neck, we’ll do it all over again!! Everyone will tell you where the good spots are, but it’s the times you have there, that are special!! I can agree with Mataranka as mentioned before, however all the water spots with very little clothing on, and a few special friends met along the way give great times to remember! If you’ve got kids, they’re probably accustomed to you nuding up, so it shouldn’t be a big shock, and if you meet nice none threatening peeps, they probably won’t care about you playing in water holes with other adults! They’ll be busy with their kids, or just exploring, won’t care about mummy being spit roasted in a cool billabong with daddy and their new Danish friend!! We still look at our photos now, and talk about the excellent times we had, and some of the people we met are still friends today!! M_D4 - Posted from rhpmobile

I'm beyond jealous... Tasmania is incredible. Agree with what all the other posters have said, and will add Tarkine National Park to the list - particularly the slide at Dismal Swamp, which takes you from the top of the visitor centre to the bottom of the Dismal Swamp sinkhole. Don't let the name put you off, the walk back up to,the visitor centre is stunning. In the same area, Stanley and the Nut are well worth seeing too.

For me, just exploring, asking locals for those great tips that are off the radar. And just exploring without any particular destination - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'SuperFoxxxy' Everything about huonville is just divine. Ms Foxy Sleeping beauty can be seen from many places in the Huon Valley. Southport, its the most southern township in Australia. Pop on a Ferry and go to Bruny Island. Its so peaceful. Liffey Falls, I think it is beautiful and comparable with the better known Russell Falls. Don't rush Tassie, as Gr8distraction said, so many places to see that aren't far from each other.

NT - Litchfield National Park - you could spend a week in there and not see it all NT - Kakadu - the Yellow Water cruise. You see more crocs in the late afternoon NT- Nightcliff Foreshore especially for the Seabreeze Festival (May) or the Sunset Session which happens every month NT - Alice Springs and surrounds, visited a stunning gorge but can't remember the name of it NSW - Dorrigo National Park - Crystal Showers waterfall

In the north of WA the must see places would be Coral Bay, Eighty Mile Beach, Gibb River Road, ElQuestro Station and the water falls, Kununurra/Lake Argyle, Keep River NP and Cable Beach. Plenty of other places worth a look depending on how much time you have and what you are looking for.
