What activites would you consider are bondage soft and bondage hard within a profile

  I would consider sort bondage to be restraints, blindfolds, using sensations that are not going to hurt or leave marks such as fabric, soft whips, massage candles, feathers, wartenberg wheel. Control that is still more sensual. For hard bondage, I would consider more leather, metal, wax candles, gags, body manipulation such as pegs, needles, clamps etc, better control assertion with discipline. More painful results from discipline and marking of the skin and more psychological. I would consider rope tying or shibari somewhere in the middle as it could be used either way.

  Would agree with most of what you had there Ralf. I would say you could put a good chuck of the rope bondage on a bed as soft but once you start using stuff like stocks, padlocks and other props then that's hard. Also for me the more stressful the position that your bound in determines soft or hard. Vertical suspension is definitely up there in the hard category. But like everything its up to the individuals perspective as to whats hard and soft for them. One persons hard is another persons soft. Cheers, W.
