I was cheery just waking up this morning. A) On days off B) Had a lovely night watching a few episodes of Westworld last night, a couple of G'n'Ts to help me unpick the plot C) Totally abandoning any plans for the day, doing whatever the hell I want D) Whatever the hell I want will most likely be reading, listening to music, and snoozing intermittently So all of that cheered my day.

On Kevin Bacons instagram feed today there is a little video of him and his wife Kyra Sedgewick singing together to celebrate their 30th anniversary. So sweet. As a joke my son hacked my insta feed and followed a whole heap of celebrities and KB was one , but I kept his after deleting the others because his relationship with his wife seems so mutually loving. Warms my heart an iota.

And I woke up on the right side of the grass. Work is bit quiet atm until next projects fire up so have a leisurely day ahead to potter around home and prep my veggie patch some more. Then my biggest cheerup is this arvo when after a week or so of being home alone, I’ll have my two kids for next four nights as per routine. They always bring out my inner smile. 😊

I have had a terrible sad start to the week. Our dog is very sick and Monday is his last day with us. I was in the Post Office and I broke the machine. I was just about in tears (again) and the lovely post office lady,who know me well, came over and lifted the lid of the machine and blew on it. She then said in a very loud voice "see a blow job fixes everything"! I laughed so much and gave her a big hug!

To breathe againKnowing that I've caught up, and i'm on top of things after the Brisbane M&G. Thank you to E and FF for putting on a great night........The guys and gals that i chattered to. I won't name names (they might not want to be associated with me) Heard there was a mystery nipple grabber?......I wasn't there at the time, it wasn't me.I was dead on my feet as i had only gotten in to Brisbane and left early The super sexy fox that caught up for lunch. Was that lunch or breakfast?I know it was lunchtime but we had eggs benedict.......Lets call it brunch just to be trendy. I really think i took the long way home. Crashing through sand dunes in the desert, but i did get to see kangaroos, eagles, camels, dingos, wild horses, hot springs, sand......so much sand, sunsets, sunrises. So today, and taking the time to think back ......cheered me up.Not quite a distraction, it ended up being more like a disruption to normal programming. But great all the same.
